Lavishly made, endlessly beautiful to watch and substantive enough to make you care, this is fantasy at its absolute highest level. It builds on the promise of that Season 1 finale to deliver truly epic adventure.

What matters is that “The Rings of Power” chooses to focus on certain details, rather than settling for capturing Tolkien’s broad sentimentality. It may seem like “The Rings of Power” begins badly — and again, it only seems that way — but there’s no mistaking it ends well.

I loved season 1...i enjoyed the first **** i think you guys doesnt understand how much is great this work. Even Peter Jackson he was not completely faithful to the books. Asking this about something that is honestly not easy to read (since I have only read the Lord of the Rings) is absurd. Technically the only two real books by Tolkien were Hobbit and LOTR. The Silmarillion and the Tales of Arda were published after his death, it is not known how they were modified. Too many insinuations for my **** yes too much people complaining about skin color and **** on **** neflix..4KUHD for 5€$...dont make me laugh

While many of The Rings of Power's best qualities remain front and center in Season 2, so too do some of its greatest weaknesses. The series' large ensemble cast expands to cover even more physical ground in Middle-earth this season, but the same can't necessarily be said for the overall plot, which often suffers from disjointed pacing.

The second season does improve as it progresses. .... But old habits die hard, and The Rings of Power can’t shake its addiction to ponderous speechifying and thuddingly self-evident character reveals (one made me put my head in my hands as I watched). The frustration with those, aside from the obvious, is the space they take up in a show that has so much universe to explore.

An indulgent belief that “epic” means every interaction must be portentous – and that humour must be eschewed at all costs. The result is like being on a mirthless rollercoaster ride: thrown around, spun upside down, but always wondering when the fun is supposed to kick in.

Unfortunately, all that promise [in season one] has been utterly wasted on the confusing, directionless and emotionally bankrupt second season of "Rings of Power."

Why is literally every review either a 10 or a 0, you guys are all as pathetic as the writers of this show. My actual rating based on a true score, is based on the fact that the budget for this show does not mirror the product. Is season 2 better than season 1 so far, sure. But season 1 was so bad thats not saying much. Im not one to complain about DEI but this show did a horrible job casting. The writing still reflects poorly on Tolkien which is sad. They need to pull the plug on this ASAP or just get completely new show runners, this is just sad.

A series about Peppa Pig entertains more and is better written. About the third season I don't care anymore, for me this series ends here with a completely disappointing season 2 and a season finale that is not an ending and makes you realize that half of the characters have served no **** "critics reviewers " who give this series 100 should seriously consider changing careers.Writers and showrunners should leave this series and find another product where work

This show is so badly made that most of the time I just found myself scrolling the phone. Feels like an AI wrote the script and the dialogs for this show. The characters are so uninteresting and lame that you don't care about any of them! I really tried to like it as I loved the original trilogy but this is nowhere near. Some of the visuals were nice but that's pretty it...
