Over the course of 6 seasons, with its unique blend of serial and procedural storytelling, /The Good Wife/ expands the clichéd “good wife,” or melodrama’s martyred “coping woman,” with a contradictory and mercurial characterization of a woman whose liberation and corruption are increasingly intertwined.

Six seasons later this show still outdoes itself. This is one of the few saving graces on network television these days. Relevant, sharp, fast-paced, balances variety with precision... You root for these characters when they gain their victorious moments. So smart. I never tire of this one.

Good, crackling start that--as the old saying goes--changes everything and may even point to the end.

There's a looser feel after so much anger and grief; jazzy instrumental music underscores the twisting and turning action. It's top notch TV by directors at the height of their game.

The CBS drama continues to provide evidence that quality isn’t necessarily defined by blood, guts or exposed flesh. All it really takes is brains--and in this case, you don’t even have to eat them.

The Good Wife has endured, despite borderline ratings, because it handles the fundamentals so well. It needs to keep doing that.

In its penultimate season, "The Good Wife" remains as urgent, important, witty, and funny as ever. I don't want to see it end next season--but at least I have forty-four episodes left, full of exciting and dynamic changes for the characters I have grown so attached to. I will miss you, Alicia, most of all. Goodbye, "Good Wife".

This is a great show, great cast, tons of people we love to hate and hate to love! CBS knocks it out of the park with this one! WARNING: This show is addicting!

You know that feeling we get when we watch an awesome show right ?..this new season of good wife was able to do that plus the music in this season is too good.

This is an addictive show, but the latest season is trying to catch up on ratings with unreal plot lines. Do you remember when Mad Men stopped being cool and suddenly started including suicides, fights, action sequences in each episode to try and make it more 'mainstream'? The Good Wife is doing the same thing, ramping up the plots to the point of them being OTT. Season 5 was a massive change of pace and now season 6 is doing the same but in a more crass manner. Let's hope they do the same thing as Mad Men and get back to grass roots.

It is an addictive show, there is no doubt about that, but I gotta say that the writing and acting lacks of quality, (with exception of Josh Charles(Will) ,Matt Czuchry(Cary) and ****( Peter)). I can see how Julianna Margulies(Alicia) struggles to show any emotion due her plastics surgeries or excessive make up(performance wise is like another kristen stewart). Archie Panjabi(Kalinda) portrays an awful but miraculous character that saves everyone, every single time, like a female version of James Bond minus the fx of a movie(literally like another character from another universe). I get why people like the show but this show will never reach superior standards and will be forgotten once it is over. And btw, I dont really know how they called the show "the good wife". Perhaps just as a mocking terminology??? because it displays completely the opposite of that. In what universe Alicia would be a good wife? It should not have a metacritic that high... I cant understand why this show has better score that breaking bad in some seasons.
