This is not the good kind of torture...(And, yes, there is a good kind.) Indulge me, "The Originals", or, at least try. I ain't got time for you and your ****.

Moody and stylish, "The Returned" is daring, dark, and extremely scary. It's one of the best new shows to premiere in a long time. Let it indulge you, and your brain.

It's rare that a show peaks in its fifth season, but "The Good Wife" did it. It excels because it is relevant, intelligent, dark, and witty. Don't forget your amazing, "Good Wife".

This season started our shaky. But after episode eleven, "The Good Wife" continues to impress, with one of the best episodes into the series thus far, "Red Team/Blue Team".

Can "The Good Wife" go on forever? It is as smart, dark, and emotive as cable. "The Good Wife" is a storm of fantastic acting and writing and wittiness. It can't not impress me.

The day "The Good Wife" is bad is the day that pigs fly. It is truly the best show on TV--on cable and network. It's witter, smarter, and more articulate in its third **** to mention funny.

It's smart, dark, and personal. Quite frankly, "The Good Wife" is engrossing and powerful, with acting and writing that could kill. It is just as amazing as cable.

The leads are charming and the writing is tight--and I mean tight. "Marry Me" is poised and quite good. All it needs to do is have some sort of conflict week-to-week and be a little less predictable.

At first, I was skeptical of what "Revenge" could do. But it won me over with the amazingly evil characters and truly Gothic touches. It's not brilliant, but it's never awful.

The refined acting and writing help make this drama overcome the soapy, grotesque feel the show has at times. Don't get me wrong: the show is visually stunning. It just needs the extra push.

"Stalker" is garbage. It's irrelevant, exploitive, and stupid. CBS, good job--you've managed to undermine women. Pat on the back. Go to hell Stalker. The virtually unknowable hell.

"Bad Judge" is a mess, an utter and complete mess. Not Kate Walsh. Never Kate Walsh. She has the gift. So, bitc*, get with the program. Not the show, but the program.

"Jane the Virgin" is a breath of fresh ****'s charming and intelligent, fun and witty. That's why it deserves our respect and admiration. It deserves our admiration because it's good--if not, great.

"Enlightened" was flawed--just like its heroine. But it was perfect at the same time. Now it's gone and we miss it because it was perfect. Just perfect.

Witty, smart, stylish, and fun are all words up that can be used to describe the eccentric new USA series "Benched". The writing is sharp, and the acting is even sharper.

It's emotive, slow-burning, intense fun. It's not perfect--it could learn to find a balance between plot and character, and when either one feels overdone--but it's never bad, or never brilliant

Yes, the tone is bleak, and, yes, the characters are dark. But "The Leftovers" is different: It brought mortality back to television. It's bold and compelling. Great acting, writing, and directing make "The Leftovers" a hit. It won't interest everyone (some will detest it), but its got mystery, wit, and poise that strikes the right kind a people with a chill down their spine.

So funny. So witty. So well acted. So well written. Here is to our foul-mouthed, mean, and cynical Selina. The campaign trail has truly brought out the best in "Veep".

In its penultimate season, "The Good Wife" remains as urgent, important, witty, and funny as ever. I don't want to see it end next season--but at least I have forty-four episodes left, full of exciting and dynamic changes for the characters I have grown so attached to. I will miss you, Alicia, most of all. Goodbye, "Good Wife".

Darkly funny and well **** what makes "Transparent" one of the best shows this fall is the directing, acting, and--most importantly--its poise.

"The Affair" puts the truth on trial: the central dynamic between Alison and Noah doesn't seem forced, great writing and acting make for a strong first three showings, but what makes the show so engrossing is the idea that the differing perspectives of the two leads reveal the difficulty of determining the objective truth of something.
