The second season of The Gifted shows improvement, with a more focused main storyline and a suitable pace. Although there are some minor flaws in the plot design, overall, it is better than the previous season.

"The Gifted" ressurge com as suas dinâmicas alteradas de maneira a reacender o interesse de um público já sobrecarregado de histórias deste género. Resta saber se a série conseguirá se manter audaciosa e inventiva o suficiente para não produzir enredos irrelevantes, já que não consegue utilizar todas as personagens e referências que gostaria.
