I actually liked the entrance. Theme is slowly starting to hit different and makes you love it. I didn't like how soft is Boba and he actually is an awful crime lord, literally. I'd love seeing him as a hunter. Or a hunt, would be great to watch. However, Temura Morrison saves the day and makes it more watchable. I also loved how Boba crews people. I hope it'll get better.

I love that they kept the mandalorian feel in this series and im looking forward to what they do with boba fett. I have full faith in John favreau with this series.

So boba fett episode 1 just released and from start to finish its... ok. The best parts of the show (of course) being the action. This episode feels more like a setup than a actual mandalorian-esque episode. Though even the action scenes (for lack of a better word) feel silly. There are some scenes where the character's faces just look off, something about them isn't right. There's also no crazy grogu-esque character or plot-point reveal like Mando (not that they needed one, it something similar would be great to raise this episode up to a higher standard). This episode is definitely shaping big character reveals in the future. This show has potential and with the right execution definitely can meet or exceed the high bar set by The Mandalorian. My last point is the shotty CGI (I don't know what to call it other than that), especially with enemy design (mainly the "surprise" at the end of the episode). This show also feels very nostalgia-bound, with many cuts and settings feeling like they come straught out of the 1977 original. This could be a problem in the future if the show is too bound on nostalgia than the actual plot. Overall: Pros Great set-up episode with many plot points to explore. Shows the shows potential Good Action Good callbacks Cons Wacky CGI/action. Not many interesting developments Doesn't feel like a full episode 7.3/10

My main criticism is that this is not the same guy who fell into the sarlacc pit. He wouldn't have asked the rodian if he wanted to escape. He was never Cad Bane or Aurra, but he also wasn't a good guy. Also, some of the dialogue writing is pretty bad here. When it first came out I liked it. Now not so much.

I’ll keep it short. Tem Morrison (Boba) said himself “the character talks too much and takes his helmet off too much. It takes away from the mystery and he seems too soft. The constant flashbacks make it almost incoherent storytelling at times and he seems weak and second fiddle to Fennec.
