was funny in the first 2 seasons but became a bad comedy because they shifted to story rather than good comedy, all the plot is boring and is just you yelling at the screen "I dont care" really sad becuase it could have been a good memorablecomedy. the story goes downhill and gets repetitive and bland fast. the charactersjust get so blandand unlikable very quickly

A great show. Great actors, great gags, the story is great and it accurately displays retail job life. Have watched this show several times fully through, it’s that good.

I loved this show and was sad it ended. The longer it ran the funnier and funnier it got. Pure gold.

Just now started to watch this show and in the middle of season 5 now. Pretty decent show with good characters but few repeated storylines that can be annoying when watching back to back. If you ever worked retail there will be many funny moments you will certainly relate to. It no, "The Office" but there is fun and entertainment to be had here.

Would have been good if it wasn't trying to be The Office - Retail Edition. But unlike The Office, Superstore tries too hard to push agendas. Especially as the seasons progressed. But from around Season 4 it really went downhill.

Piercingly relatable and heartwarming by turns. Brilliant cast. Often topical, never preachy. Tempting to compare, favorably, with The Office (American). An absolute triumph.

Superstore has is not a perfect show. But it makes up for it with characters the audience will become invested in. If you have worked a minimum wage dead-end retail job that you are somehow inexplicably nostalgic for, you will enjoy Superstore.

This is the best sitcom I have ever seen. The whole story from season 1 to season 6(the last season) is just incredible. You really get a hate/love bond with every character. I'm a bit disappointed that the series ended this fast but the ending was the best ending you can think of for this series.

A delightful show, my friends introduced me to it and I find it really enjoyable. It can be a bit slow at times and plays off some stereotypical sitcom tropes but is great 99% of the time and has a great, diverse cast that offer more funny situations that other typical sitcom casts wouldn't. I also like that it doesn't try too hard to be like The Office, despite having the same producer.

I quite liked season 1-3. And then season 4-5 happened and it all fell apart into poorly written characters and terrible plot writing overall. Stuff that made me almost despise this show: - Cheyenne and Bo, for some reason, do drugs! I mean, wth!? They have a kid and Cheyenne is a cool character. But yeah, let's ruin that by making her, and her otherwise cool spouse Bo, do loads of drugs in their spare time. There's no reason for it... It's just terrible. - Glenn's unfailing support of the blatantly obviously money-hungry terrible, terrible human being Pastor Craig. I hate the Pastor Craig character with a passion. And it made me despise Glenn too. They started off hinting to Glenn's fanatical religious views. But they kept a lid on it for the most part. But as the seasons progressed, they started making it part of "his skit". And it ruined the otherwise likeable character from the first two seasons. And later on he's just gullible beyond belief and even starts stealing from the poor. Good job writing team. - Amy going back and forth between being egotistic and being pro-union. She flips back and forth, and sometimes it's so annoying I almost couldn't keep watching. And the episodes where she wants to prove she's fun and crazy are just horrendously written. They turn her into such a stupid character during some parts. - The Sandra Character... Yes. Probably the worst character of the show. She's all over the place. And her "romance" with Jerry is so cringe-inducing! She's a terrible human being hiding behind her "silent demeanor". More like, she's silent because she knows that everything that comes out of her mouth makes more people realize what a crazy person she is. The show has a lot of highlights too though (phew): - Myrtle! I love Myrtle (RIP Linda). She's so goofy and funny and well-acted. She was a huge part of why I liked the first seasons. - Mateo, like him for the most part. Especially the stuff where he and Cheyenne does goofy stuff. That worked well, too bad they stopped doing it so quickly. - Dina, overall like her. She's the Dwight of Superstore. And she's consistently quirky in her personality throughout the show. Not like some of the others who are just all over the place all the time. - Brett! Ha, so silly, but so funny. He always just stands there. - Garrett, like him too. He's sort of the anchor that keeps the show somewhat sane. And he's pretty funny too. - Cheyenne! Apart for the fact that they wrote her to be a drug abuser, I love her for the most part. - Bo! "Waah, waaaaah!". He's just so oddly fascinating, even though he such a doofus. But I love his over-the-top shenanigans. Again, except for the fact that the writers decided to make him a drug abuser. - Marcus, like him for the most part. He's this half-shy, half-flamboyant bro type who doesn't seem to have any homies. He's also pretty consistent in personality, which has somehow become a plus for the show, because so many of the others just keep flip-flopping all over the place. - Jonah. He's sort of an odd character. I quite like him, but he's also oddly placed in the show. But I guess that does bring some kind of dynamic. He stopped being interesting when he actually started dating Amy. Their internal dynamic is not working well. So, I'd recommend the first seasons. But just know that you will be increasingly aggravated by the writing as they progress through the seasons. And season 5 is just the worst.

Superstore is a show that does itself no favors by forcing comparisons to The Office. It's unsubtle and clunky (at best) and the vast majority of its characters are one-note (and a poor note at that). With that said, I never miss an episode. Tune in to watch Lauren Ash slay it, week after week. Treat it like everyone else is just living in Dina's world and the series becomes compulsively watchable.

The show could be really great, but the writers continuously bring liberal politics/policies into the show. There is so much more material they could use when writing a show like this, yet they choose to focus on liberal policies.
