Come to watch Ty Burrell kill it; stay because everyone else is doing fine work, even if they're not given much to do. Consider leaving because the writing that doesn't involve Ty Burrell's character is weak and the direction is consistently sloppy. Eventually leave because for a series that labels itself as progressive, it has at least one deeply problematic quip or plotline in virtually every episode.

Superstore is a show that does itself no favors by forcing comparisons to The Office. It's unsubtle and clunky (at best) and the vast majority of its characters are one-note (and a poor note at that). With that said, I never miss an episode. Tune in to watch Lauren Ash slay it, week after week. Treat it like everyone else is just living in Dina's world and the series becomes compulsively watchable.

Season 2 of BLL could aptly be summed up as an exercise among top-level performers to deliver truly piss-poor dialogue convincingly. They don't; no-one could. But maybe there's something like beauty in this visual proof that some things are just plain impossible; like a video of Joey Chestnut failing to eat a stack of hotdogs that's just. too. tall.

Several sketches show impressive narrative and comedic acrobatics, but not one manages to land on its feet.

Even just 5 episodes in, Primal is a narrative and visual force to be reckoned with. Don't mind the naysayers struggling to correctly spell 'aesthetically' - this is a series to cherish.
