"Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" season 3 is hopeful and funny and exciting and silly and thoughtful and scary and strange and lovely ... and I can't wait to watch more of it.

For now, Strange New Worlds is here to remind us just how much fun it is to spend time with this crew.

Brilliant effects and set design real attention to detail in the uniforms and cast appearance, visually stunning all around true star Trek with a modern spin

STSNW season 3 was ordinary. Overall l like maybe 4-5 episodes, the rest was just forgettable. The acting was uneven. The tentative of humour with Pelia felt really flat. I really dislike that character who is constantly cringy. I didn't like how the ending was done, but the life of Pike was a nice touch. There is way too many characters in that show to give focus stories. I give it 48%. I am not enthusiastic about season 4. Change my mind.

All things considered, Strange New Worlds continues to do an excellent job at adapting Star Trek to this era of television, maintaining the series’ episodic structure and unvarnished optimism while introducing modern production value and overarching character narratives that tie the season together.

For “Trek” aficionados, hewing to canon is important and necessary, but the episode’s A story is something “Trek” fans have seen too many times before. Episodes three and five are episodic away team missions, a welcome return to the show’s roots. .... The best story so far is found in episode four, an offbeat outing directed by Jonathan Frakes.

Strange New Worlds has the potential to deliver the kinds of episodes that Gene Roddenberry and company could only dream of in the 1960s, which makes it frustrating to see the show pull back on some of the elements that make Star Trek such a powerful franchise.

Did enjoy seasons 1 & 2, but i stop at season 3, episode 4. Tired of seeing Spock dancing Tango and falling in love, so ridiculous.

Unfortunately they completely dropped the ball this season, and I feel the writing is to blame.
Seasons 1 and 2 were peak Trek!

This ****! Why is everyone standing around in a circle explaining the plot? Why is Spock a **** for love? Why is the CGI so bad?
I think Star Trek is pretty much done. Seems there are no good ideas left for interesting character arcs or plots. I dont need more of this.
I loved Star Trek so much back in the day, but this is crap.

Season 1 was good, most of 2 was good minus Star Trek the musical (why? No one wanted this), season 3 is clearly trying to get young, progressive viewers with the writing that has nothing to do with Star Trek, characters that fit ideological roles but either contribute little or detract from the show, plots with giant holes / bad writing, the list goes on. If you liked old Star Trek shows then stop at season 2 and skip the musical episode entirely in that season.
