Diverging far from the first two seasons, season 3 of Sonic X starts a whole-new plotline about an alien race corrupting other planets... which seems okay. However, the show spends far too much time with characters Chris and Cream who ironically don't add much value to this plotline, despite being practically essential in earlier storylines.
