A new ABC Family series built around four teenage friends and an ominous hint of supernatural forces that mean no good, makes most popular vampire romances look anemic.

What the show lacks in this kind of irreverence it makes up for in plain old addictive soapiness.

Dedicate from the beginning; this series was just one of those out of the park home-runs, where everything just fell into place with perfect timing. Casting, production, and crew, they couldn't have hoped for better. So much talent went into making this series and we can only hope they could re-create this kind of hype to last it's views seven long years. If you're going to start it, you have to be dedicated enough to finish it! Be prepared for a long, but well worth it ride! You won't be sorry!

Fun enough, but the nastiness could be applied more heavily.

Sure, there's a lot here that sustains more eye-rolling than interested stares, but a little patience might be warranted. Only with future episodes can Liars prove whether it's "Desperate Housewives" for tweens or just another trashy, pretty little error.

While no one beyond the show's target audience--teens in need of something to squeal over until Gossip Girl returns next season--would claim that Pretty Little Liars has a voluminous body, I must concede that it has a lustrous shine.

Written by I. Marlene King ("Just My Luck"), Tuesday's premiere is a generally predictable introduction that too often plays like a bad "Saturday Night Live" parody of a teen soap.

It hits every ''racy'' teentertainment mark so hard (everyone's hair is so full - of secrets!) that it feels like the only thing missing is a visit from the ghosts of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr.

Pretty little liars is full of comedy, suspense and plot twists. The show is about these four teen girls who are receiving threatening anonymous text messages after their friend Allison was killed. This show is all about these girls finding out who is bothering them, what really happened to Allison, finding out who they can trust and uncovering everyone secrets that mostly lead to Allison. They go throw horrible events such as being kidnapped, almost killed and sometimes betrayed by their own family members. There is also love and other regular teenage things that get complicated when *A* gets involved. This show always has me on the edge of my seat and has blown my mind so many times. When you think you've figured it all out the shows drops a huge plot twist that you never saw coming. I think the actress and actors are amazing and portrays their roles well. Of course many things happen that I don't agree with but all the good and exciting outweighs the bad. I just wish the amount of people dying was lower.

The acting is bad and these characters are not that likable, but it's hard not to get **** into the drama. I'm curious to find out who A is. Also, it's sort of fun to see these girls have their lives torn apart. It's cruel to say but oh well.

What Pretty Little Liars lacks in originality, it makes up for in how deliciously wicked it is... This guilty pleasure is just that and should be regarded as such. Pretty Little Liars, or Gossip Girl for the class of 2011-2013 is a fun show and is definitely the guilty pleasure of the summer. Not really innovative but there is something comforting about familiar territory.

A show about sex, murder, and drama on "ABC Family" equates to a horrible fail. "Pretty Little Liars" is poorly acted, clichéd mess with unlikeable characters and a ridiculous concept.

As a teenager I just find this show stupid. The mystery that we discover in the first episode is quite a good idea, and the scenarists could have do a very good show with but.. Well. The main actresses don't play good, it's obvious and boring. They can't even make their personages interesting and, after two episodes, you already hate them. Full of clichés, their relationships are as realistic as my grandma doing karate. That's bad, because the plot was very interesting and original.
