Across eight hours there is some absolute bravura television here.

An even more compelling portrait of a debauched workplace, with greater character development and some cardiac-arresting set pieces.

Although there’s never the sense that Industry is holding itself back, the wider canvas that Season 4 operates on suggests that the series could continue to evolve to keep up with reality's increasingly unbelievable events. Industry may share similarities with previous HBO dramas, but it's evolved into a definitive show of the moment.

This is the most disparate, sprawling season yet — but the plot-twists, back-stabbing character drama and endlessly high stakes keep Industry as gripping and raucous as ever. 

Industry is the same show it was the first time around, with the same pleasures and pitfalls. The dialogue is so laden with financial jargon it occasionally becomes unparsable. ... If you found something to like in its bleak worldview and blistering pace in season one, you’ll be glad to follow Harper back into the office.

An engaging but thematically thin drama. .. The show’s entanglements and provocations are what manage to pull a viewer in.

My main problem with the new run, though, isn’t that there are many moments of sheer implausibility but that we have seen it all before. .... And once the pyrotechnics stop what are you left with? A sense of having a fun time but with quite a lot of rubbish too.

Atmospheric, moving, exceptionally written, and featuring a stunning indie soundtrack, Industry is one of the most impressive new dramas in years. The strong ensemble is led by a remarkable Myha’la Herrold who deserves an EMMY for her performance.

Weird one .. this show is , on the one hand the quintessential outcome of a Uber woke tv Era where the goal seems to be to have at least 3/4 diverse people in every scene , every other man to be gay or bicurious , and to have thinly veiled reversed colonialism (a term that the show actually, proudly , uses in season 2 , go figure) all over. And as it is customary in the 2020s there is at times some obvious anti white messaging On the other hand .. credit where credit is due , the woke writers did manage to actually write some daring scenes , and realistic , human responses , and some well rounded characters like Eric with good sides , bad sides. It's a confusing little show. I also think all the criticism of the sex scenes is besides the point , it's actually a fairly realistic showing of modern sexual behavior me thinks . The wokism is the real nasty. And, to be fair , there are worse shows to watch. But the wokism is still a very poignant disease in modern television that prevents even well written shows to be 4 or 5 star epics

It's like trying to take Succession, make it British, boring, and have almost nothing ever happen. I watched 4-5 episodes but it seemed directionless and uninspired. There was just not a great reason to keep watching this.

So boring, nothing really happened. No character is interesting. Beyond the hot sex scenes and some genitals and great music, there is nothing interesting in this series. So disappointing

I have to be honest in that I didn't finish the first episode. I just really didn't like it. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for something like this but I didn't like any of the characters and I am kinda weary of shows that have the characters unkindly competing with each other along with more wealthy people with artificial or snooty personalities. I'm sure it's got some redeeming qualities that some people like to watch, but I didn't find this show to be entertainment for me. I gave three number because I didn't watch much of it and just giving it some credit.
