An existentiel film that does not deliver. Was looking forward to seeing this Oscar nominee for Best International Film and was very disappointed. The film is two stories that do not connect or maybe they did but it does not matter.

Seriously! What a piece of garbage. After 45 minutes used fast forward. Was hoping for a trashy Hollywood thriller.

Full on Hollywood thriller with twist and turns. Loved Sweeney and Seyfried they make a great pair. Fun watch and crazy story.

Beautiful film on mother, daughters and grandmother in modern day Taipei. Grand daughter growing up in this interesting triangle is what makes this film a wonderful story.

2025 Oscar winner for best documentary. Its subject — the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is more relevant today in 2026 after seeing the genocide and starvation Palestinians in Gaza.

The film beautifully captures the history of the LGBTQ community in San Francisco. Emilia Jones, plays the teenage Alysia and gives a heartfelt understated performance. Highly recommend.

I can see this film racking up Oscar nominations. At first it shows a possible future of an authoritarian America. And it's also an action thriller, comedy and fantastic satire. Brilliant acting by DiCaprio and Penn. And best for last Paul Thomas Anderson does an incredible job directing the film.
