Hakufu Sonsaku joins the ranks of Nanyo Academy with her cousin Koukin. Inside her Spirit pendant is a fierce warrior who conquered the lands 1800 years ago. The Big Four of Nanyo Academy see her as a threat and wish to take her out.

Hakufu defeats Ryomou through a force taking over her body, almost leading to Ryomou's death. Koukin vows to protect Hakufu so that it never happens again, but Hakufu runs away from home, only to end up in trouble.

Taishiji is given an order to execute Hakufu.

The Great Fighter's Tournament is approaching. Totaku, the previous victor, has rigged the draw for the tournament. Hakufu goes on a rampage to avenge Taishiji and is overcome by her spirit once again.

The new Fighters Tournament has now commenced. Which school will come out on top? Will anyone defeat Toutaku? How will Nanjou Academy go with Hakufu Sonsaku fighting for them? And will the spirit living inside her be awakened once again?

A mother-daughter rivalry rears its nasty head when Hakufu tangles with Kakouton, and the ranks of Rakuyou High School are diminished by a sudden uprising.

Aunt Goei gives Hakufu and Koukin some tickets to the pool. Ryoumou ponders her fate to guard Hakufu.
