The second season of Fortitude reminds us that in times before, when life was not so certain or easy, we needed stories to warn us of the dangers of the world. In the isolated town of Fortitude an old tale about a Demon is played out. The community of Fortitude is confronted with ancient and modern evils and this unique and very well done series takes us along as the brave community struggles against evils that threaten their bodies and their souls. With rich, believable characters, Fortitude goes deep into the shadowlands of demons and shamans, myth and mystery, human courage and fear to remind us of the monsters that always lurk.

Things are ramped up in the crazy stakes for season 2 and i'm not too sure if it works as they intended.

As over the top as Season 1 was, they've amped it up to 11 for season 2, but no Stanley Tucci, who is very much missed. Dennis Quaid seems a bit old, doddering and past his expiration date, great to see Michelle Fairley again on the screen though she seems underused. All n all a disappointment. I'm trying to muscle through the last 3 eps now.
