Greataction scenes with some unpredictable plot twists. I really enjoyed the show but 6 episodes feels a bit too short

Every show that I’ve seen Priyanka in has been abysmal, overacting, not consistent and unlikeable. Please start looking for better talent. This show should be cancelled.

Terrible terrible show with a plot so ridiculous, it's difficult to get through an episode

There is so much comic book in this series. Not to be outdone the progressives have struck as well with the wife of one of the main characters divorcing him and re-marrying a dike. The action scenes have been borrowed from James Bond with the ratio of bad guys jacked up to insane levels. Oh, and average run time, 35 minutes all with 2 minutes of intros and occasionally another 3 minutes of crud at the end.

An over-the-top, action, spy-thriller like Citadel is fun. It obviously can't be taken too seriously. I had a problem with the whole "misunderstanding-because-people-hide-the-truth-from-each-other" trope being taken to an extreme level. I get it - we were taught when we were little kids that it is always best - in the long run - to be honest and truthful. Life will be better. But, of course - lots of people never learned that and many, many films hinge on the plot-point that people aren't open and honest and that causes misunderstandings and action ensues. And, often it is extremely annoying that the characters are too stupid to understand that basic 7-year-old level of awareness. Citadel takes that trope to an extremely high level such that the spies are very, very stupid and very, very un-self-aware. But, of course... if the characters discussed what they were thinking with each other - there would be no misunderstandings - and, then there would be no plot. It just requires that the characters be extremely stupid. If you can get past that, the film can be exciting and fun... in an over-the-top way. There have been many spy stories where a theme is that being a spy bends a character's ability to be honest with other people and that can be an interesting thing to analyze. If that is what Citadel was aiming for... and I think perhaps it might have been - it didn't develop that theme successfully - in my opinion. I would blame part of it on writing and part of it on directing - not necessarily on the acting so much.

I just rewatched a scene from towards the end of the series, "if you had just asked me I would have told you the truth". The other character has the most incredible look of stupidity when realizing that was the case. And, then there is some additional dialogue and then the first character is beyond stunned at how stupid the second character is. Wow, I'm going to have to keep rewatching. Why have a main character be so extremely unintelligent? There is no point in this plot and it ruins the film.

Not the best series ever be made but a great show really. The cast is good, like really good, the story might be a little bit predictable but nevertheless it's a great spy show, different from what I've seen in the past. I enjoyed the fact that it's not a series where everyone has done something wrong, they are not bad but have done bad things because of some things. I'd love to see what will happen to the different relationships, how will the main character process all the informations he was given. If you're looking for something not too deep but a little tricky and where the action is well done (with great special effects by the way) in a spy world, then go watch Citadel.

This well financed series has actors that are great in other projects, expensive visuals, and writing that's so dumb that it makes you wonder if the thing that produced it ever met a human being. It's astonishing how much work went into something so fundamentally flawed and predictable.

The show has been praised for its slick production values, its fast-paced action sequences, and its strong performances. Madden and Chopra Jonas are both excellent in their roles, and they have great chemistry together. The supporting cast is also very good, with standout performances from Stanley Tucci and Uma Thurman. However, the show is not without its flaws. The plot is somewhat predictable, and the show can be a bit over-the-top at times. Additionally, some of the characters are not particularly well-developed. Overall, Citadel is a fun and entertaining spy thriller. It is not a groundbreaking show, but it is well-made and enjoyable. If you are a fan of the genre, then you will likely enjoy Citadel. Here are some of the positives of Citadel: Slick production values
Fast-paced action sequences
Strong performances from the cast
Interesting premise
Here are some of the negatives of Citadel: Predictable plot
Over-the-top at times
Some underdeveloped characters
Overall, Citadel is a fun and entertaining spy thriller. It is not a groundbreaking show, but it is well-made and enjoyable. If you are a fan of the genre, then you will likely enjoy Citadel.

This show should be called: Nothing But Deus Ex Machine (no really all of it every line of diolouge every scene nothin but), it's so obvious and boring regardless of the fact it's produced with top notch special effects and casting, there's litterally nothing there, here. Made it 4 episodes then tapped out, this show is simply bad.

Well executed but lame brained spy thriller is lavishly produced, with pretty good action sequences but has some really basic ideas (wow...another competing spy agents) that sometimes I wonder whether the Russo brothers have any great ideas other than those they 'cribbed' from the MCU. Seeing Amazon literally throwing money around is so disheartening if it results in projects such as these.

Pure azz. My guess is like with most of streaming the lions share of the 300 mil went somewhere else and definitely not into the production of this mess.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is amazing as Nadia. Her acting is flawless and her action sequences are breathtaking. Richard Madden plays the two sides of his characters really well and at any time you can see both Kyle and Mason in him as distinct characters. Stanley Tucci as the tech genius who also loves himself way too much is fun and cool.
