This movie is excuse my French ****. Started kind of cool but at the end its just like a freshman year in college debate about religion vibe.

It’s definitely a high quality product as far as cinematography, set design, historical authenticity, and costume. However the story itself felt very rigid and basically everything was obvious. Also Leo’s face looks like Brando in the godfather. It’s one thing for an actor like Andrew Garfield or Tom holland to play roles of someone younger than their actual age but Leo’s looking rough. Unless he’s portraying the real life character to a T but there was always references to him being “handsome” in the movie. He looked like a 50 year old man. It’s worth watching but feels a bit clunky. Unless people were just truly sociopathic back in the 20s the way they went about murder and deception was far to nonchalant and relaxed. I’ll prob watch it again because it’s a well made movie with pretty things to look at it’s not because I didn’t catch something and couldn’t figure out what was going on. The whole thing was laid out in the first few minutes.

I don’t get how they could spend so much money and time on a project and have such a bad story line. It makes no sense.

I like most people was very skeptical about this movie due to Disney’s track record in the last few years. After watching this movie twice now I’ve realized it’s a fantastic movie. As far as the spooky genre it’s a perfect movie. The acting is really strong, the special effects are A plus and the over all story is well crafted and surprisingly deep. the director didn’t have much under his belt outside of very progressive material and it’s cool to see a talented film maker branch out and create something for everyone with a timeless nature. I don’t ever review movies but this deserves one because the meta rating is much lower than a film of this caliber should deserve. It will achieve cult status in the spooky season genre no doubt. A lot of people will discover it in the coming days and enjoy it immensely. What it might lack in shock gore it makes up for in solid acting and it’s ability to get people to relate on an emotional level revolving loss, longing, and acceptance. Thanks for reading.

I know I'm not a kid But there is just something odd about this movie. I tried watching but eventually just had to turn it off. Something about the rhythm or the sound, not quite sure but it's odd. It did not Feel like peter pan. It's almost comical such high profile stuff made by supposed professionals is predictably just pure garbage.
