Loving the fact that there's a team in this one. The Hutch and Bernard dynamics never fail to make me laugh. Action is great as well. A definite improvement to Season 1.

I expected very little after Season 1, which I couldn't remember other than it was "meh" but there was nothing else of interest, so I threw it on in the background while I worked. To my surprise, I kept stopping work and being drawn in to the story and the characters. Stanley Tucci is awesome in this. One of his best. Priyanka and Richard are both fine but they pretty much have the straight man role in this for the others to bounce their one liners off of, which works wonderfully. Not a background watch, as I thought it would be, but something that is worth devoting time to.

Really big step up from the first season. The new cast of characters helped flesh out the ensemble in a great way.

Great action, easy watch and funny cast. Liked this season more than season 1.

Citadel has returned in that classic way of an expensive franchise that realized too late that money can’t replace identity. After spending the first season desperately trying to create a “new spy universe,” the series seems to have finally understood that maybe it would have been better to just start by making a fun **** it works better this way. The pace is more dynamic, the action actually happens, and the series seems less concerned with explaining its own mythology all the time. The new cast additions help a lot, but it’s funny how Stanley Tucci ends up being one of the most interesting presences amid so many handsome agents running between **** problem is that it’s still hard to watch the series and see anything beyond a compilation of James Bond and Mission: Impossible references. It’s more entertaining than before, but it still feels like a franchise desperately trying to justify its own existence.
