It's one of those prehistoric kind of shows that is heartwarming and wholesome, that made me chuckle with the family and even cry. [26 Aug 1996]

It's all very contemporary Waltons — usually huggy at the end of the hour but with enough quirks to keep you intrigued.

This is one of the best shows I have every watched. I love how together the family is, I wish my family was like that. This show is easy to get addicted to due to its loving family nature, and I started finding myself getting proud of all the children's accomplishments. I began watching the show on TV when I was around twelve, it was the later seasons. The again at fifteen, and I just started watching it again. I love how this show talks about sex, drugs, gangs and peer pressure in a realistic way and shows the consequences. I love that though the siblings fight they always makes up and have each others backs, that's how siblings should be. I also love how each of the children find their own path that is not identical to their parents or siblings. I also love how some of the children got and stayed on the wrong path instead of everyone getting on the right path in the end because this is more realistic.
