It is very much an ensemble film, yet it also serves as one of the final demonstrations of how Cloud could command a scene like no one else. That alone makes Your Lucky Day a bittersweet gift, but the sharp film also has quite a lot else going on as well.

The heart is in the right place for Your Lucky Day, but the execution is a little loose. Brown puts a lot of tenderness in his film, particularly with the film’s central couple, but there’s not enough friction and surprise to create a tight holiday-set thriller.

Brilliant movie. Thrilling, twist filled exciting story. Wonderful acting. Brilliant editing & direction. Everything felt well thought out, without taking itself too seriously. It’s like a 90s action movie throughout.

Mesmo que apressado, começa interessantíssimo. Mas deve aprender com o brasileiro "o homem cordial" a manter o clima de tensão: foi optar por sair do clima claustrofóbico em uma ação desgovernada e muito mal filmada (exceto talvez pela escolha da direção com a cena do marido brigando de longe e o trem passando). E assim, o filme perde força, sem saber nem como terminar.
