And, as Lara Jean navigates a trove of official firsts with Peter - her first real kiss, her first real date, her first Valentine's Day - she finds herself leaning more on Kitty and Margot (Anna Cathcart and Janel Parr... Though it also feels like the kind of movie you wish they made more often for all the boys, and girls, still figuring out who they are — especially the ones who don’t tend to see themselves nearly enough on screen: a reflection shinier than real life maybe, but generous and good-hearted to the core.

While Michael Fimognari’s film does have some heart-fluttery moments—chiefly the first reappearance of heartthrob Peter (Noah Centineo), framed in a doorway and blessed with a nice winter jacket and a crooked smile—what’s more arresting is its gentle wisdom about all the stuff that happens after the swoon.

Amazing film, great sequel to the first film. This seems to have some bad reviews but I have no idea why Would definitely recommend

Alarmingly sincere about selling Peter to viewers as more than he shows himself to be.

To All the Boys: PS I Still Love You doesn’t quite match its predecessor for heart fizzing romance – the first film dealt sensitively with loss and grief – but it’s just as entertaining and charming anchored by a supremely likable central performance from Condor.

This movie plays like the middle picture in a trilogy — a romance in a holding pattern. The arguments are realistic but inserted as mere plot requirements.

The trouble with “P.S. I Still Love You” is that nearly all the reasons that Lara Jean makes such a refreshingly different romantic lead are contained in the earlier film, and here, she’s reduced to a version of the passive Disney princess, trying to decide between two dudes who both think she’s swell.

It’s just a deeply misguided mode of franchise-building.

I absolutely loved it! If you watched part 1 and liked it, you’ll definitely want to watch this one! It sure is a movie full of romance and that clearly shows what goes on the minds of almost every teenage girl when they have their first love interest!

Surprisingly I really enjoyed the first movie. I thought the characters were cute and relatable and even though it was bit familiar the execution was refreshing. I also found Noah Centino adorable and charming as well as Lana Candor. I did however feel it didn't need a sequel but was charmed by the idea of it. Basically this is a very unnecessary movie. That being said it's still charming and likable even though our main characters make very frustrating decisions. Picking up a little after the first, Lara and Peter are still together but starting to have some doubts. She than receives a letter from from John Ambrose whom she discovers has always had a crush on her. And that's really it as they question their relationship a little and deal with insecurities while being cute. It doesn't move the franchise forward in any way but I still wouldn't mind seeing what happens next. 3.25/5

Worse than the first, but at least To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You is above average for Netflix teen movies.

A pointless sequel, in which you will dislike the characters of the original to a point, you really don´t care if they get a happy ending.
