This is why Tinder app never existe on my iPhone. This Inherently true-crime documentary from Netflix is undeniably a must-see film!! Felicity Morris did incredibly amazing job for her directorial debut. The film already had great source materials to be exposed and Morris cinematically arranged every informations be on storylines neatly. It almost feels like a (mentally) **** film, which shows audience how awful emotions the victims have to go through and then strike back with full swing to give a temporary pleasure after emotional tortures. I really do feel sorry for those kind women. Their kindness not deserve to be treated like what the scambag Simon Leviev did to them. Nobody deserve that... Lastly, I actually do think, that Sicambag Leviev was a smart guy, but he might not smart enough to universally know that: don't outsmart anything about business with dutch.

Really interesting documentary. I don't watch much but this one had me glued to the screen. Horrible situation and ultimately still what came out of it is even worse.

História interessante mas deu um bocadinho de sono. Podia estar feito em 1h e percebia-se tudo na mesma

"The Tinder Swindler" (110-mins, Netflix) is yet another tale of a Lothario charlatan. We hear from three northern Euro-women who were taken for hundreds of thousands though it's estimated that this already convicted conman had cheated untold women of millions. This predator, Israeli Shimon Hayut, used the gullible I-want-to-be-in-love women of the Tinder app as his hunting grounds. Note that his criminal enterprise was straight up fraud in "borrowing" women's money, this was not a Ponzi scheme. The documentary was fairly thorough yet unsatisfying in that though Shimon was totally exposed publicly, he was never brought to justice for his criminal enterprise - only for a passport violation - and continues his fraudulent schemes to this day. So, this story is not fully told till he answers in full for his many crimes.

A particularly effective Ponzi scheme with anyone who has been bewitched by Disneyworld: it's unsurprising, unrelated to Tinder and not exclusive of women.

The first woman who at the beginning exposes her whole idea of the romantic prince with the analogy of Beauty and the Beast, with 1024 matches and 7 years on the app, is one of the protagonists of a story of deception and fraud by such prince. When you believe such fantasies, you will swallow any story. They make it so easy. ***Update*** I just find out that the three women that appeared here have a GoFundme account, and they are asking people to donate 600.000 £. 600.000 £!!!! How they came up with that number is beyond my comprehension, and I don't even know how they expect people to give them money just because. They were scammed and now they're scamming people too. Here's the site. ****/f/75c8gg-help-the-victims-of-the-tinder-swindler

Хорошая документалка, но как по мне - слегка затянутая!

Thus is such a mind blowing story- i had to go to online to follow all the characters. Wish them all (except the main character) love, health, prosperity, love and happiness.

Cautionary Tale Of Chasing The Cinderella Dream Online The first 30 minutes of this documentary was more than enough, but I stayed with it til the end in order to write this review. I feel sorry for those women swindled, but HOW can one not see that there is something wrong with this guy and situation from the first story of "enemies after me" and "I need money". If it seems too good to be true, it is too good to be true. The delusion of "love" after only a couple of luxury dates is at its core, the blind allure of a windfall life of riches, jet-set luxury, lavish lifestyle, and financial security. Like all Ponzi scams, getting-rich-quickly is the bait used to scam people, whether its investments or the possibility of finding love with a rich "**** like the Tina Turner song, "what's love got to do with it". It's an outrageous over-the-top example of scamming, and one hopes this will give women pause before jumping into too-good-to-be-true scenarios, (especially off dating sites), and learn to head for the exit as soon as obvious red flags pop up. The sad truth is it probably won't make enough of a dent to prevent this type of thing from happening **** desire for a rich lifestyle is always going to bait some people into bad scenarios via denial - "it's a tale as old as time".
