For all its third act nuttiness, The Perfect Guy really should have gone way crazier.

Nothing nearly so wacky or grotesque goes down in this romantic thriller, but you’ll wish it would.

If you go to other sites like Yahoo movies or google 8/10 people say this movie is great. You guys are full of bleep and you know it. I can tell you it's not a boring movie and it's has a great story-line If you're going to give this great movie a 2 or bad score you haven't seen this movie and you need to get a life and start telling the truth about a great movie.

"The Perfect Guy" is a guilty-pleasure type of movie it's a predictable film of course but thanks to it's gorgeous cast, this movie couldn't be more entertaining. Michael Ealy's as the villain is captivating, after his work on the television show The Following and Think Like A Man franchise including About Last Night, I think he has a lot more in him, then were used to seeing him in these romantic-comedies. Sanaa Lathan plays Leah Vaughn, a lobbyist, who has a successful career. She has a boyfriend Dave (played by Morris Chestnut), she breaks up with him because she wants to be married and have kids, but he's not ready. She breaks up with him, she's heartbroken until she meets the charming and handsome Carter Duncan (Michael Ealy). Their relationship goes horribly wrong, he's obsessed with her, forcing Leah to turn the tables on the man who was Mr. Right. Lathan's performance was okay, Chestnut was good and the best part of this movie was Ealy. Look I didn't really care for the characters, I felt like the story was silly, but Lathan makes it work. 4 out of 5 stars

Michael Ealy has a very ominous stare and Sanaa Lathan sells her inconsistent character pretty well, but The Perfect Guy is still just a boilerplate stalker story that proceeds more or less as you suspect it will.

Despite an appealing trio of leads, it seems likely to entice only those with an unquenchable thirst for thriller cliches.

The cast is solid, game, competent. And the you can’t fault an audience for seeking a little female victimhood/female empowerment in their romantic thrillers.

The best thing you can say about The Perfect Guy is that it plays out like a gelded version of Fatal Attraction, lacking anything dark or dangerous. It plays it too safe, and who wants a guy like that?

A slightly better, but not as hilariously awful version of "The Boy Next Door". Weak writing, acting, and directing sink this overplayed premise straight down. It's messy, boring, and no fun to watch.

Senseless and blending-in-the-field trash we got from the movies that we call it 'Perfect' when it isn't. I call shotguns to join in the negative wagon.

The Perfect Guy. Wow. That's twice September has dropped these "box office bombs" on us. The plot is about a woman who gets creepily stalked by her ex. That is the way to put it. If you remember Micheal Ealy looking through her house in the trailer, that scene was heavily edited to make it seem intense. There was nothing cool or intense about the whole movie, it was boring and rushed and going places I didn't even know. There is a line between terrible and bad, and their is another line before terrible, which is the definition of The Perfect Guy.

I was bored the whole time. Even the other people in the theatre seemed bored. Half of the audience was on their phones, while the other half were making jokes about how bad the movie was. This movie was a true disappointment.
