The Hot Chick

I haven't laughed harder at anything this year, but I would have a hard time recommending this gender-bending gut-buster to anyone who doesn't have a high threshold for crude sexual humor and stereotypes.

The cast, save the charisma-free Schneider, is uniformly hilarious, and deserves classier high jinks than this Juwanna Tootsie roll.

Schneider and director/co-writer/Animal vet Tom Brady continue to subscribe to the notion that any joke worth making is worth beating to death, but there's still something strangely endearing about Schneider's willingness to do anything for a laugh.

Rob Schneider runs an obstacle course of taste and emerges remarkably unsullied, considering the choices he faces.

The first half hour of Hot Chick, before the switch, plays like soft-core porno from the '60s. The rest plays like a bad "Saturday Night Live" sketch stretched to the breaking point.

Through superhuman effort of the will, I did not walk out of The Hot Chick, but reader, I confess I could not sit through the credits.

A comedy that surpasses stupidity, and not in entertaining ways.

My Family and I absolutely love this Rob Schneider Movie. This concept is ingenious and funny as H... If people can't see the humor in a move like this, they must have a very sad dull life. This is an absolutely must-see Comedy. Watch it with an open mind, and a smile

There are so many things wrong with this movie. First off the plot was horrible. A male criminal switches bodies with a female high school student. This is a movie for high school and college kids with very low attention spans. There where only a couple parts that where funny everything else seemed like it was trying to hard. The girls in this movie are popular just like in all teen movies, but this is no Easy A or Mean Girls. So please stop making these types of movies Rob Schneider and stick to doing cameos in Adam Sandler movies. .

C’est à l’instar des « Freaky Friday » une comédie un peu conne sur un changement de corps inopiné, sauf qu’ici, ça change de sexe par la même occasion…! le film date un peu (quand même) et n’a aucun « message » envers la ligue LGBT etc… n’y voyez donc ici qu’un « humour » plus ou moins marrant ou lourdingue… Il faut dire que le débilos hors catégorie Rob Schneider est ici en roue libre et en fait donc des mégatonnes (de conneries) : il est inarrêtable, inexpugnable, lamentable et de temps à autre d’une vulgarité gênante (et vulgaire). Néanmoins, quelques gags s’avèrent étonnamment drôles surtout dans la première heure, car par la suite (ça dépasse 1h40 ce truc), ça boit la tasse jusqu’à la fin et ça se noit directement dans la fosse à purin de la comédie typique amerloque mongolo qui pue carrément du cul. Par ailleurs, l’on ne suit à 95% que la blondasse (au QI de blonde et de cheerleader) dans le corps du débile et c’est dommage, car il y avait moyen de tirer aussi quelque chose du débile dans le corps de la blondasse (qui est aussi une bombasse bien sûr). Mais trois fois rien de ce côté-là, hélas… Du coup, malgré certes quelques conneries amusantes, on reste sur sa faim et souvent déçu du film. Il aurait fallu donner le rôle de la fille à Anna Faris (qui joue ici une simple copine… demeurée comme les autres gourdasses) et profiter du contrepoint des changements de corps simultanés et indésirables. Mais non, c’était trop demander aux scénaristes et Rob Schneider voulait, je suppose, tout le film (de golios) pour lui, avec tous les dégâts que cela a entraîné et occasionné…(!).

The Hot Chick is truly a comedy that can make you laugh, but that’s probably also its problem. It shouldn’t even be called a romantic comedy because the romance between the characters is very weak. Most scenes feel ridiculous and hard to take seriously. I would recommend avoiding this film.

Come on, Rob Schinder is at it again yet with another disappointing performance
