The Crow

Like his Shell remake, the Sanders Crow makes something oddly compelling out of a bad idea.

The Crow is not a waste of talent or resources; worse, it just hangs there on the screen, as undead as Eric himself.

It's all enough to make you wonder if this is a flight that should have stayed grounded.

Sanders' The Crow has nothing on its mind, and forgets why we should be sad and frustrated at the death and meaningless violence in the world.

Skarsgård and Twigs have a total absence of chemistry, and while she’s adequate in what’s still basically a dead-wife role, he’s shockingly inert for someone with a career built almost entirely on characters at the intersection of creepy and hottie.

This picture never overcomes a general heartlessness that permeates even the abrupt romance that supposedly launches and drives it.

it's not a bad one movie, certain things would be from review and lacks the action

The Crow tries its best to take on the tragic story of Eric Draven, but we are left wanting for so much more. While it had solid action and the back half was much better than the front, The Crow needed to get us to really care about the love story that drives the film, but with paper-thin character development, it couldn’t. Like the other films and TV series before it, this adaptation of The Crow couldn’t break free of the shadow cast by the Brandon Lee original.

30 years since the original movie was released, i was kinda looking forwards to this, but it's a bland and styleless movie that woulda been better not having been made.

The Crow is a relaunch of the franchise that has already buried it. The Crow is probably the worst movie of 2024. There is literally nothing from the original franchise. A love story of 2 measurements, which was not revealed in any way. But the whole plot is based on the fact that this is a suddenly unreal love story that death cannot destroy. The main antagonist, who in general causes only laughter and tears. The final scene of the climax battle that lasts 30 seconds only confirms the words about the main character and antagonist. Mediocre action scenes from zero movies. The absence of neo-noir is the main mistake. The first half of the film is likely to force most viewers to leave the session or turn off the viewing. The only not bad moment is the action scene in the theater. The Crow causes pain and disappointment.
