In the end, Jack, Kyle and director Liam Lynch ("Sarah Silverman: Jesus is Magic") have created more than just a low-brow comedy, they've created a comedic saga, a film more rock show than movie.

Good movie. Really enjoyed it. Really funny and stuff. Really liked watching it.

The Pick of Destiny is fast and funny, and you can't beat the songs (especially the not exactly heartwrenching Dude I Totally Miss You).

The movie is spotty. The short films, essentially comic sketches, were more consistently funny. The movie lags on occasion, but it also has quite a few laughs.

Jack Black and Kyle Gass bring characters they created for the HBO program "Mr. Show With Bob and David" to the big screen with mixed success, depending on the age, gender and degree of inebriation of the filmgoer.

Ich gebe zu,ich kann diesen Film nicht Objektiv bewerten,es hängen zu viele Erinnerungen an diesen **** war noch sehr Jungs als ich und mein Bruder uns diesen Film in der Videothek ausliehen und seit dem ersten Schauen damals,liebe ich diesen Film für den Humor,für was er vermittelt und was er ist!

А вот фильм не полюбил.
Музыкальные вставки, конечно, шедевральны, но всё действие происходящее между ними довольно скучно и не смешно. Да, есть неплохие шутки, но их мало для комедии.
Итог: Даже при том, что мне нравится эта группа, фильм не особо зашёл. Максимально могу оценить только музыка. Она очень крутая.

While it does have a few funny moments, there are far too few to sustain it's running time of 97 minutes.

Man this movie ****. There story could have been written by a 10 year old. Dough i love both Jack Black and Dave Grohl, there is no excuse for this movie. I think turned it off 3 times. I would have called Jack and asked for my money back if it didnt borrow it for free from a friend.

It was pretty terrible. Poor acting, Poor music as well and I thought it made for a terrible musical, and the entire film is just so stupid you cant believe that you are actually watching this.
