I don't understand why Far From Home was hated because the night monkey costume is ugly, Mysterio is a good villain, and then the kiss is amazing. 8.5/10

A Spider Man tapping into his inner Iron Man, Tech and all. Far from home succeeds by putting more emphasis on its endearing characters, and there relationships. Peters budding and awkward relationship with MJ. His loving bond with Aunt May, plus his growing friendship with Happy. While one of the highlights for me is the hilariously complicated fling between Aunt May and Happy. "I thought you could sense that with you Peter tingle"

Spider-Man: Far From Home. Adventures in Europe. A vibrant and energetic sequel to the MCU, where Peter Parker tries to navigate life after the events of Avengers: Endgame and balance school with his role as a superhero. The European backdrop adds to the spectacle, with chases through the streets of London and stage stunts set in beautiful landscapes. The film successfully combines teenage humor, friendship, and the hero's responsibility, raising themes of trust and what it means to be Peter.

This part is better than the previous one in my opinion, the plot is more dynamic and the action takes place in different countries made the film more interesting

Too holland is just super whiny in it, this is not how I would have written let alone let an actor just tank his reputation

Poor character development, an unbearable supporting cast, and Zendaya's presence in the saga is unjustifiable. Nothing makes sense, and it's reduced to a generic superhero plot.

What the WHAT was whatever that was. This was dumb from start to finish. Everything that the first chapter had - this chapter threw in the garbage can and lit it on fire. "I want to be Spider-man . . . but I need a vacation - because of MJ (who is but is not Maryjane but probably is in this universe)". I really couldn't be done watching this one fast enough. I am really falling out of love with MCU properties.

This is the worst Spider-Man movie Marvel has ever made. The performances are fine, but the movie doesn’t generate any real excitement ... I don’t know how else to explain it. Raimi’s trilogy, Andrew Garfield’s two films, Homecoming, and No Way Home are all better than this one. The first time I saw it in theaters, it was the biggest disappointment I’ve ever had watching a movie about my favorite superhero. I don’t understand why they thought sending Spider-Man on a trip abroad was a good idea.

A film with a very classic plot for its genre, which places it on a par with many other chapters of the Marvel saga and in the average of them without reaching any particular heights.

As Marvel's first follow-up to the massive culmination that was Endgame, Far From Home is lighter by necessity. Spider-Man is a character that really benefits from a smaller stage anyway, so the timing is appropriate, but he's quickly pulled out of that comfort zone and never totally settles into the new one. I think the foreign location has a lot to do with that. New York City is an essential part of the web-slinger's identity, whether he's doing friendly neighborhood stuff or zipping through Manhattan with a slice of pizza, and separating him from all that for a quick European vacation makes the character feel rather vanilla. His classmates are along for the ride, thankfully, which maintains his connection to high school drama and wise-cracking teen culture, and that helps, but it’s still an issue. Tom Holland is as good in the role this time as he was the last, achieving a difficult combination of confidence, spontaneity and awkward social dysfunction. Jake Gyllenhaal is convincing and charismatic as the perception-altering Mysterio, lending depth and direction to a character that's often rather flat in print. Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury is around a lot too, dealing in-person with several situations that would have probably been beneath him in earlier circumstances, and there's one great casting surprise late in the film that left my entire theater gasping for air. The effects also look phenomenal, with a particular credit due for making one of the comic's most ridiculous-looking foils, somehow, seem pretty cool. Most of the pieces are still there, and it's loyal to many things I enjoyed about Homecoming, it's just... lesser in most every way? A decidedly middle-of-the-pack effort, which is somewhat disappointing since the first installment felt so fresh and spot-on.

MJ has a more significant role, and that positively affects the story in this one. The villain is interesting, and the action scenes look good. I don't like that this movie spends a lot of time referencing Avengers Endgame.

Worst Spider Man Movie next to NWH Sinister Five! Far from home is really bad spider-man film. Lots of expectations but failed to introduce it **** story is mess and lacking, Holograms are technology used by mysterio himself. Peter having a vacation in europe got in trouble because of the elementals and mysterio does this to show to the people that he is a hero. Spider-Man learn something new much inspired by tony stark which makes him more intelligent than before like crafting new suits and its new **** final battle scene in london is mediocre no fists fight with mysterio more on hologram and drones **** post credit skrull is worst and overall it was not a great film 3/10.

Average at best. Pretty lazy writing and way too much cringe teen comedy. Another Stark hater for Spider-man to fight against. And a Mysterio letdown...

Why can't we just accept that this movie is great? It is 100% true, and Far From Home is better than the first part. Beautiful action scenes, great actors, a fantastic script, and... all make for a spectacular movie.

We are not at the level of Raimi's films. Nor about Homecoming. But it's his. And he does it very well.

I was bored, probably because I’m not 9. Also, there have been way too many comic movies in recent years. But mostly, the writing in this movie is atrocious. The characters were flat, the plot was generic and CGI does not make a movie good. Even commercials have CGI. CGI isn’t special anymore. Diversity + CGI = the modern entertainment industry. They wouldn’t know a good story if it crawled out their nethers. We did not need yet another coming of age story, but clearly the industry can’t come up with anything original. Remakes, sequels and coming of age are all they can do and what’s worse is they do them horridly. Writers in the modern entertainment industry are incompetent buffoons and the execs who green light all this garbage are idiots. This movie is an utter waste of time.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is a 2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and the 23rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was directed by Jon Watts, written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, J. B. Smoove, Jacob Batalon, Martin Starr, Marisa Tomei, and Jake Gyllenhaal. In the film, Parker is recruited by Nick Fury (Jackson) and Mysterio (Gyllenhaal) to face the Elementals while he is on a school trip to Europe. Discussions for a sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming began by October 2016, and the project was confirmed later that year. Holland, Watts, and the writers were all set to return by the end of 2017. In 2018, Jackson and Gyllenhaal joined the cast as Fury and Mysterio, respectively. Holland revealed the sequel's title ahead of filming, which began that July and took place in England, the Czech Republic, Italy, and the New York metropolitan area. Production wrapped in October 2018. The marketing campaign is one of the most expensive for a film ever and attempted to avoid revealing spoilers for Avengers: Endgame prior to its April 2019 release. Spider-Man: Far From Home premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre on June 26, 2019, and was theatrically released in the United States on July 2, as the last film in Phase Three of the MCU. The film received positive reviews with praise for its humor, action sequences, visuals, and the performances of Holland and Gyllenhaal. It grossed over $1.1 billion worldwide, making it the first Spider-Man film to pass the billion-dollar mark, the fourth-highest-grossing film of 2019, and became Sony Pictures' highest-grossing film and the 24th-highest-grossing film of all time. A sequel, Spider-Man: No Way Home, was released in December 2021.

Far superior to Spider-Man: Homecoming, this is how it's done Marvel, but it's not as good as the Raimi Trilogy still.

Another Spider-Man movie for me to review before the new extended ultra deluxe fancy-schmancy "The More Fun Stuff" version of "No Way Home". You might think Sony would have made enough money this year with "Morbius" being the highest-grossing movie of all time, but I guess 200 morbillion dollars at the box office didn't satisfy the corporate overlords. Physical sales not included. As the ending point to the MCUs third (and overall best) phase of overwhelming content onslaught, "Far From Home" has the responsibility of being a good sequel to "Homecoming", wrapping up the Infinity saga and making way for more sequels to come. Thankfully, it achieved all of that pretty nicely. Now, it has come to my attention that this movie is a bit controversial among some fans, which I absolutely don't get, because this movie is pretty dang good. It misses the down-to-earth vibe that made "Homecoming" so great, but it offers a lot of new directions to keep things fresh and interesting. A road trip movie with Spider-Man is very unusual for a character that is well known for being a New Yorker through and through, but this Spidey has also been to literal SPACE and fought a giant **** on a planet with weird gravity fluctuations, so yeah. Peter Parker aka Spider-Man faces a lot of new challenges throughout this movie: Being compared to his now legendary mentor figure who saved pretty much all of existence, dealing with the aftermath of being killed and revived again, getting recruited by shapeshifting aliens, being handed sunglasses that could wipe out entire cities, being emotionally manipulated by a super model and his crew of Phase 4 VFX artists (seriously, give them a goddamn break, Feige) and the most brutal and hardcore struggle a teenage boy could ever deal with: Asking his crush out. So yeah, pretty average highschool stuff. This movie is almost Spider-Man 2 levels of what I call "Peter Parker getting screwed by almost everything and everyone in his life" which makes it both hilarious and also a little sad. I felt so bad for this innocent boy who just wants to enjoy his vacation and still has to deal with the MCUs stupid-ass shenanigans. It also helps that Tom Holland is such a great actor for both Peter and Spider-Man who comes with his own youthful charisma. And then we have Jake Gyllenhall, playing Quentin Beck aka Mysterio and lemme tell ya, he's PERFECT. Arrogant, petty, charismatic, a brilliant liar and schemer, his costume design isnvery comic book accurate and...I mean, he's played by Jake Gyllenhall. No wonder he's so good. A real threat to our hero and a Top 3 Spider-Man movie villain next to Alfred Molina as Doc Ock and Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin. Supporting cast is also pretty great: Ned and Betty are hilarious, Aunt May and Happy are weirdly wholesome, the teachers of Midtown Tech deserve their own Disney+ show and Flash Thompson really needs some parental affection. #JusticeForFlash My biggest shoutout however goes Out to Michelle Jones-Watson (played by Zendaya), who finally gets some more spotlight and is a great love interest for Peter. They are both so sweet together, it's giving me diabetes. Also, can we talk about the action in this movie? The elemental attacks, the illusion scenes (straight out of the comics), the whole bridge fight? This movie has some the MCUs most creative action! Shang-Chi is a bit better, but still. Michael Giacchinos score is great, as es per usual. The MCUs Spider-Man theme slaps even Harder then the Homecoming version and the Mysterio theme is surprisingly complex. Also, the final fight music ("Tower of Cower") is a straight BOP. Oh, and before I forget: The new Red and black Spidey suit is soooo damn clean, one of my favorite Spidey suits ever, next to the Insomniac suit and TASM2 suit. So yeah, very fun and engaging Spider-Man movie with a lot of heart, I love it. If you didn't like it, give it another chance and you might change your opinion. Not gonna lie, pretty excited to review "No Way Home" next, especially now that I need something to wash away that feeling of terror and disgust that "She-Hulk" has left on me. (Seriously, Marvel. Please get a grip already, this year has been pretty rough for the MCU.)

The movie was okay-ish. Some parts of the film were enjoyable but rather than that just an average film. Nothing too big or exciting while nothing too dragging and stuff. However, the post-credit scene is crucial for spidey which was good.

Good cgi but a bit lackluster overall, especially following the epic denouement of the infinity war saga. They decided naturally to contrast the childish enthusiasm to be a hero displayed in the first installment against the burdensome consequences of that responsibility. As the name suggests this Spiderman movie takes place out if new York which is a wise choice in reducing the potential NYC fatigue. Juggling his identity, love life and obligations Peter Parker is forced to make a choice on what being a hero would mean to him.

Better than the previous, the MCU's 2nd Spider-Man movie takes a fresh turn on the genre, aand...okay, maybe not an Infinity War, but still, finally a new movie, not an imitation, that expands the universe the best way possible, and its characters, too. Holland was a great choice, now I know, why. Big surprise: the weakest point of the film is the villain. Just the usual. At least the name "Mysterio" is **** badass. Looking forward to the next SM movie.
