Overall, Our Little Secret is a fun, mostly family friendly Christmas screwball comedy with Lohan working in the comedic mode she does best.

The screenplay, from Hailey DeDominicis, lacks the vibrancy you expect from a light-hearted holiday movie. Sure, there are a few genuine emotional moments and Lohan aptly gives Avery as much dimension as possible, but there’s only so much she and Chenoweth can do to liven things up.

A typically formulaic seasonal sugar rush that’s only blandly mediocre, rather than so-bad-it’s-good. But Lindsay Lohan’s romcom-dominance cannot be denied.

Come for Lohan, stay for Harding, and watch until the end for Kristin Chenoweth — all while ignoring some of the most robotic dialogue your ears ever heard.

This dull-witted, soundstage-bound Christmas romance has festive trimmings and a clockwork plot.

Although a quick summary would suggest that Our Little Secret is the simplest and most domestic of Lohan’s trilogy of terror, the devices that lead to its wrap-up are anything but Hallmark happy.

You watch Our Little Secret, seeing through the paper-thin contrivances, tittering at the imbecilities, and somehow that all becomes part of the experience. It’s mainstream fodder as downgraded camp. It’s pablum so numbing it makes you feel good.

Such a fun and heartwarming movie with charismatic performances from the cast, specially Lindsay Lohan.

Um filme medonho, talvez o pior da Lindsay Lohan. Quase 40 anos na cara pra fazer dela um personagem que esconde um amigo/amor antigo do atual, tem filmes adolescentes que são mais maduros do que isso aqui. Fora o amontoado de vergonha alheia: o trato com personagens mais velhos, os adultérios, a cena de Natal, a edição ruim, a trilha ruim. Uma bomba.
