Nearly everything about Fascination feels overdone. At its delirious worst, it's as pungent a Parisian cheese shop, offering a cornucopia of laughable scenes.

The sort of soft-core, erotic thriller that would benefit from a lot more trash and a lot more sex.

It plays like a soft-core-porn potboiler left over from the 1970s about a hot vampire chick.

The less said about the story's twists and turns the better, except to warn that they become increasing preposterous with each passing minute.

So tedious is Fascination that the plot, the embittered characters and, yes, the sexuality are merely insipid.
