Avatar: The Last Airbender is an outstanding show. The animation quality is simply flawless, with stunning visuals in every scene, and the writing is expertly crafted, respecting the essence of the franchise. It is thrilling to see the real Avatar again, with all the magic, depth, and care that won over the fans. Thank you so much, Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino, for bringing this universe back in the best possible way.

This movie was actually pretty good all things considered, but I still have a few things I didn't like. 1. it felt way to rushed. 2. the characters mostly sokka felt a little bit to goofy. That's all goodbye!

Actual score 6.5. It's just ok. It doesn't really do anything special. The bad guy is some guy troubled by war. I feel we've done this. Maybe Avatar doesn't work as well as a movie as we live and grow with the characters in the show. The whole POV is from Aang and the other characters feel like they are just there. Some decent fight scenes. If you're a fan, honestly it's not worth it. There are no great revelations or insight or significant new lore to be had here.

This film is pointless and I say that as a fan of the original cartoon. It offers nothing new and is lacking any real plot or purpose. The firelord is gone, so there's no threat or purpose to this film. It's a cashgrab (or would have been if this film wasn't released on streaming due to being hacked and released online). I also really don't like the new voice actors. I don't see why they needed to replace the older ones.

I cannot stop raving about the new Avatar: The Last Airbender animated movie! This is exactly what I've been waiting for. It feels like a natural continuation of the original series, with the characters we know and love now as young adults. The animation was absolutely stunning—every scene was beautiful, fluid, and full of life. The new characters fit perfectly into the world, and the lore is incredible. Every interaction feels authentic, and it reminded me why I fell in love with Avatar in the first place. It's such a shame this wasn't released in movie theaters because it absolutely deserved the big-screen experience. I have to admit that I wasn't a fan of the live-action adaptations. To me, they feel a lot like the Ember Island Players episode—recognizable, but they don't truly capture who these characters are. This animated movie, on the other hand, feels like the real continuation of Aang's story. One question I kept thinking about: why is Aang wearing cold-weather clothing? I always thought an Airbending master, especially the Avatar, could regulate his body temperature using airbending. Maybe I'm missing something, so if there's an explanation, I'd love to hear it! I really hope they make more animated stories like this—maybe even a full series following the Gaang as young adults. I honestly can't wait to see what's next for the Avatar universe!

The animation was technically good and the backgrounds were beautiful but the plot was paper thin and was basically a mix of rehashed storylines from the franchise that were previously done better. The plotline about dealing with Aang's grief ultimately loses focus by the finale.

The Gaang is back, and the animation is pretty good. The pacing feels a little rushed, compared to the series, and the moments of comedic relief stand out from a considerably darker story. Maybe my expectations were too high.

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender (2026) moves like a film certain of its craft and unsure of its purpose, animating wind and water with a tactile beauty that makes every clash of elements feel newly alive. Aang's quiet grief over a vanished people gives the story its one genuine vein of feeling, but the question of whether a culture survives through its relics or its principles gets buried under a MacGuffin hunt and a villain, Tagah, assembled wholesale from better-drawn foes the franchise has already given us, while Katara is left with scraps of agency and Zuko, Sokka, and Toph are reduced to reunion cameos. Once the plot turns toward Dragon Ball Z-esque spirit-monster theatrics and unearned power surges, the disciplined tension that once defined this world gives way to scale for its own sake, and the emotional stakes thin out precisely when they should sharpen. What remains is a visually stunning, well-mannered nostalgia exercise, content to borrow its predecessor's gravity rather than build any of its own.

Visually impressive film. I wish it was still the original voice cast though or at least for some of the characters, as some of the minor ones (Gyatso and Roku) don't sound anything like they did on the show. Other than that though the biggest issue I have is that if you saw the Legend of Korra (most people watching have) you already know the basic outline of the ending before it happens as the plot of this movie is resolved in that series and not this movie. Overall it was pretty good but the plot and resolution was pretty predictable.

As Avatar Aang Fan since 2005, when i was 9 years old, this is pure Gold. In German, they also were able to get all the original Synchron Actors. What a perfect thing! Also the Story is nice. I really hope Paramount will incest in a Triple AAA Game at least to Play these characters.

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender features beautiful animation and a meaningful progression of the journey of the Gaang. The conflict is heavily reminiscent of existing plot lines from Legend Of Korra but Aang handles the problems in his own way.

I really enjoyed the new 2026 Avatar: The Last Airbender movie. It was perfect and stayed true to the core of the original **** story was amazing and very interesting to watch. Most importantly, it did not harm or change the characters. The characters still feel like the same characters we know and **** animation, memorable moments, voice acting, and story were all excellent. Everything came together really well. I honestly loved watching it!

Entertaining and impressive to see from start to finish. Adding to existing lore perfectly. Great balance of action and humor.

Good animation, but I did not like the storytelling. We have seen Aang growth and coming to terms with the genocide of air benders in the TV show already. Frankly, this movie doesn’t add much and expands the avatar universe. Would be more interested if they show more how the world coexist. This movie feels more like an optional side quest.

Started watching it with high hopes, but slowly turned to be something else. The gang is cool, the animation is nice, The plot is just average. Starts good, but now its been 30 minutes and everything is exploding, fighting, explosions... The VA is not them. This is like a "for the fans" movie. If they show the fight scenes, some places you cant even recognize Aang. Many ideas where stolen from other movies. There are no fun moments, no "sokka and aang makes some shenanigans" or "toph being blind jokes." Its like a fan fic, or a fan made series. The one good thing is seeing the world being more and more "futuristic" flying bikes, republic city, bisogns are there etc. So its finnaly not just *time jump*and in Korra there are cars, but like we can see it happen.

An incredible non stop visual spectacle. So much love and care for the story, characters, and what made them special to us. Not much of a story at all. It's paced like a NASCAR race, but still an enjoyable experience. It's clear the artists got all of the attention and the writers got left to drown.

A little rushed near the end, but overall, an amazing movie, and besides the Spider-Verse movies it's the best-looking animated film EVER.
