Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel

Perhaps not since "The Godfather: Part II" have we seen a sequel come along that more than matches the mastery of the film that came before it -- all the pathos, the brio, the epic sweep. . . . the cheese balls.

The earlier “Alvin” movie made more than $217 million just in the United States. It’s hard to imagine this somewhat confused sequel doing as well.

The whole thing is rather insipid. But Thomas makes it smoother and more palatable than it deserves to be.

It seems as if no professional actors were hired in the making of this motion picture.

The 6- to 10-year-old audience this movie is aimed at deserved better.

Almost but not quite as obnoxious as its title. Little kids will love it. You’ll need a hazmat suit.

The Squeakquel might be appreciated by filmgoers aged 10 or younger.

This movie was also decent. It would've been much better if Dave had a bigger role, and the Chipmunks and Chipettes is controversial. The Chipettes look great visually, but the voices don't fit as good as when they are voiced by Janice Karman. The storyline is interesting, but decent, the music was great, the scenes are memorable, and some humor is pretty wacky. This movie is alright like the first one, but nothing beats The Chipmunk Adventure!

This one was alright. It was more about the female chipmunks in this. I know there being introduce in this movie. But it was funnier when the male and females were making fun of each other.
