Incredibly simple to pick up and play, but with the potential for plenty of tactical approaches, Videoball is a great multiplayer game and I’d love to see it hit the esports scene in a big way.

This game is a superb product composed of Fine Materials, with love in (almost) every stitch. The gameplay itself is fine tuned to perfection. The only reason this isn't a 10 is the sad fact that the online netcode is broken beyond use, and the only way to play is to gather locally or to organize online games using 3d party software. The game itself is perfect though. Join the Videoball revolution.

Well presented and very much reminiscent of old style arcade coin-ops. A game of simple design but faultlessly executed and AFAIK very much unique. It's like a combination of Astroids and 2d Pool with an air-hockey style and rules. Great fun to play on own against the CPU and even better with your friends indoors or online. Worth every penny and is a breath of fresh air compared to the majority of over complicated, buggy games that we are all now so so used to.

With its distinctively clean retro stylings and deceptively simple set up, Videoball may blindside you with the pace and depth of its gameplay. It's reminiscent of arcade classics, and is easily one of the best multiplayer experiences of the year.

Practice is for tryhards, and Videoball’s greatest strength is that it understands the value of isolated, localized competition.

With a full crew, Videoball is a lot of fun. It hits that difficult-to-balance level of controlled chaos where a lot is happening on screen, but those playing and those watching can keep track of the action. It leaves plenty of room for close calls, last-second saves, and the equivalent of the slam dunk, but playing online proved difficult and the slow firing speed kept me feeling like I was coming up short.
