Amazing all characters are really well developed and somehow you start the game hating them all and by the end you love them and the twists are amazing

Un excellent jeu dans l'ambiance plus narratif que sombre horrifique mais un excellent jeu d'horreur quand même. L'ambiance s'assombrit à mesure que le gameplay se déroule et le comportement (plutôt irraisonnable) des personnages accentue l'inévitable. Sans parler des QTE bien intégrés mais assez sportifs et qui relèvent beaucoup des réflexes et qui punissent énormément la panique. L'histoire est bien écrite, bien développée, et même si les personnages sont un peu immatures, c'est qui en fait le charme et la maturité du jeu.

It is a very good game. It's like you are playing a story-heavy game, where you don't need to repeat something many times to get through. Mind-bending experience with the choices system. Reminds me with "Silent Hill: **** Memories" with some of the themes that are present. Would recommend, though the gameplay style might not fit with everyone.

An enjoyable experience, but not because of what they hoped. The atmosphere is great, and though the slow pace can be grating at times, the tense, eerie nature is quite thrilling. The writing however, is not good. Everything is linear which makes your choices feel less impactful, it makes your characters actions and direction seem forced, and it makes their choices seem questionable at best. Something happened to my friend in front of me? Let's spend the next sequence investigating a random area that is completely unrelated to said friend instead of rushing to help them. Even the actors seem like they've magically forgotten what they just witnessed for the 'huh, a cool shiny piece of Lore, what could this mean' moments. Overall we are enjoying it, but not for the reasons we should be. It is no David Cage game.

Until Dawn is one of those games that you either gonna love it or despise it. Personally I enjoyed having control over the narrative and I didnt mind the occasional QTEs. Awesome story and an excellent lore that exists behind the main events . I also enjoyed the atmosphere and the graphics and lastly although I didn't expect to like the characters bc they are stereotypically based,in the end I found out there's more depth into them!!

This game is not made for the one with hands that tremble. This game is horribly **** and you can't even put the controller on the desk to succeed the challenge when you're supposed to not tremble

An absolute masterpiece. A pioneering decision-based game. While there is not so much branching as say, Detroit: Become Human, there is virtually no illusion of choice. Instead of the outcomes being parallel scenarios, the stakes are their lives. Everyone can live, and everyone can die, many different ways (and a hundred different combinations in-between). No outcomes feel clunky or unaccounted for. The gameplay is not perfunctory, pressing those buttons is satisfying as hell, and you better not mess up. The 'don't move' mechanic is a stroke of genius. The more you give to the game the more you get out. Every piece of evidence you come across, even if it seems like a clusterf*ck, it all starts to marinate together and make sense. The game will keep track if you can't keep up. Whatever you do, DO NOT PLAY THE REMASTER. It absolutely butchers the vibe with a new soundtrack and adds NOTHING! It's a crime playstation had the nerve to unlist the original and shill that piece of trash for 60 bucks.

I loved the music and art direction of this game, expecially some of the beautiful shots we got thanks to the fixed camera angle. I also ended up liking most of the characters despite initially hating them. The story tho is way too chessy for me and the pacing is just awful, they spend more than half the game bragging about useless things and walking around, which wouldn't be an issue if it was just a buildup to a good story but in the end it only made the later chapters feel even more rushed than they are. Overall it was a good experience

I think this is as good as it gets in the horror visual novel genre, pretty nice effects of choices on outcome and yeah a generally very nice game.

One of the first horror games I've ever played so it holds a special place in my heart. I think the story and the whole dark scenery are great. I think it kinda lacks interesting characters, I feel like you kinda just don't care if someone dies. Nevertheless a great game and also really fun to play with friends if you're doing a horror game night party!

The perfect story game it has excellent characters and an amazing story and meaningful choices

A all in all fine experience. Despite being marketed as a “choices matter” type of game, I have noticed multiple instances of the game railroading me down a linear story path, especially in the early game. Which takes away from the overall experience. (Most of) the Characters are very likable, and the plot is great, although the game over relies on jumpscares and startle-horror to be “scary”

Terror muy bien logrado. Interesantes giros de trama y personajes muy bien escritos. Tiene uno de los mejores sistemas de toma de decisiones de la historia que te hacen empatizar o enojar con los personajes y unas secuencias de escape tremendamente buena. Aunque lo que entorpece un poco el Gameplay es la cámara fija, ya que los entornos son muy oscuros y se dificulta ver ciertas areas, o simplemente es algo incómodo

I think Until Dawn is overrated and I personally greatly prefer The Quarry both in terms of characters and gameplay, but it is still massively superior to all of the Dark Pictures Anthology installments. The characters are shallow and stereotypical, but the game doesn't really pretend they're anything deeper than that - it's a campy B-movie "dumb teens stuck in a cabin" horror, and they all serve their purposes fine. You'll probably enjoy some and dislike others, which adds some nice stakes in who you're trying hardest to keep alive. I think the "it has so many endings!" note is overblown considering all of those 'endings' are just the same ending with different combinations of characters alive at the end and thus slightly different people having lines to say in the police interview montage at the end. For that reason, I wouldn't really expend too much energy on trying to get multiple endings unless you want to 100% it or you messed up first run and want to try an 'everyone survives' playthrough for the sake of it. Graphics are nice, and were very impressive at the time, but the facial expressions are janky to the point of unintentional hilarity (characters will smile and have it look more like a pained grimace, with Jess and Emily specifically coming to mind here). Still, it's fun for what it is. Just don't take it too seriously.

So this is a good game with great lore, entertaining jump scares, nice characters and truly terrifying villains, and I thought it was an exceptional game up until the very last scene. It RUINED this game for me. I won’t spoil it for those who haven’t played, but the game comes down to one choice whose consequences can’t be predicted (and I made the « bad » one without knowing), and that specific choice blatantly lacks clarity. The totems are of no help in that decision, and, as a player, it feels like a cheap way to surprise you, but it only succeeds at making you feel as if the 8 hours you just spent playing and the careful thought you put into your decisions amounted to absolutely nothing. I felt cheated by the game, and nearly threw my remote because I never would’ve made that decision in real life if I’d been in the characters shoes. So yeah, I replayed the last chapter and « fixed » it, but it hasn’t changed the feeling of having been messed with and taken for an idiot.

Until Dawn is a gripping horror game with a great story, stunning visuals, and impactful choices. A must-play for thriller fans! Really recommended

The game presents itself as a novelty in its genre being a horror with a plot that changes depending on the choices. The role of each character is well defined. The plot takes an interesting and partly unexpected turn during the progress of the story

Jogo altamente recomendado. Grande história, personagens icónicas, inimigos e jumscares épicos que deixam o jogador bem tenso á medida que joga. O ponto negativo a nivel pessoal é que achei a jogabilidade um bocadinho pesada. Deveria ser mais fluida. MAs a par disso é um jogo épico.

It's a solid game. The story is nice, there are many cliches and horror / slasher film genre styllistic stanards. Some characters (especially Emily and Jessica), their attitude to their guys are gross. I wanted to let them fail intentionally. However, good guy in me prevailed and I saved all characters, including Wolfie. Still, the nice side of the game is gradually improving closer to the end unlike Fahrenheit, for example. Doable for once.

Supermassive Games strikes again but this time paying homage to campy horror movies. This has every cliche in the book too from the random people or animals that wanna help you to killers toying with obviously weak stupid victim teenagers that would've died long time ago. So unless you don't care for some realism, this will damage your game experience like it did me. I srsly think this wasn't that scary and most of these people do dumb things or stuck in dumb situations that are way too coincidental. The kills depending on your choices are nice to watch tho and some of the choices take you by surprise which was an awesome touch. Overall, it's too unrealistic to please non campy horror fans like me yet never goes balls to the wall crazy to please campy horror fans either. It's just a mediocre experience all around.

Scariest, **** Yourself Videogame i have ever played. This is horror games done right and extremely well with an amazing story, setting and presence to build up to some of the scariest moments and jumpscares i have ever witnessed and the actions make up the story feature just adds to this game as such a interesting factor and just makes it so much more enjoyable. You want horror? Play this game.

I’ve long wanted to play Until Dawn as it is one of the best Playstation exclusives, the very reason I bought the console. The game was unavailable for a while due to a remastered version being prepared, but I played the original 2015 release. The plot of Until Dawn is like an intense TV series that spans a week, where the player’s hands tremble with anxiety no less than the main characters themselves. Apart from the teenage slasher elements, the game offers a detective aspect where you need to figure out what exactly is happening around you, and it's so intriguing that you just can't wait to see how it ends. I’d also like to highlight the character of the psychologist between chapters, who probes the player’s thoughts about the unfolding events. On the downside, the totems, which are supposed to guide decision-making, are of little help. Also, in some scenes, it's clear that a certain decision can lead to a character's death, while in others, the outcome feels more random. Overall, I am very satisfied with this game. I’ve watched many playthroughs on YouTube and constantly notice new events or scenes depending on different choices made by players. If you own a Playstation, I highly recommend checking it out.

It's a great experience. The story, the choices, the overall atmosphere, it's all really well done. It feels like your watching a movie the entire time and it keeps you constantly connected to the game via a few unique gameplay mechanics. If you want a good interactive movie type game then this will for sure satisfy your cravings. This is a bit of a walking simulator though, so if it's intense gameplay your looking for, then this game might disappoint you. If you enjoy cinematic story games, then this game is for you.

Just finished this game, and i can tell u this is a masterpiece, game is full of action, yet u barely do anything, its an interactible movie basically, where ur choices matter!

Um dos poucos jogos de terror que me conquistam. Personagens diferentes, alguns amáveis outros odiáveis, história excelente para um jogo de terror. Adoro jogos de escolhas com vários finais, muito bom para quem quer se introduzir à um jogo de terror, ou até mesmo à video-games.

The game is great, but it's impossible to play the original in 2024 as the graphics are seriously outdated. Compared to the recent remaster, there are positives in the form of the game's staid performance

An original idea, great graphics and animations, fitting soundtrack. The game drags, especially in the beginning, but once the killing starts, it's a nice ride. The game is not scary at all, sadly.

still supermassive's best game (p.s. not anymore, the quarry is better, actually has a good ammount of decent characters, and it way more immersive, this one has the best monster design), it has characters that you for once might feel for and want to save. The quarry has some exception in that regard, great presentation, great pacing, great choice based actions

The cast nailed the cheesy horror movie esthetic and it feels like you're playing a movie. The monsters in this game are creepy and have some intriguing lore that warrant exploration so you find all clues. The totem system in this game although cool, isn't something that is helpful to new players as most of the glimpses are impossible to tell whats going on. The game also has a tendency to throwing a relentless amount of fake out jump scares which was annoying. Overall this game is fantastic and the "Don't move" mechanic is the icing on the cake when it comes to horror immersion and that gets lifted further with the original score.

QUE JOGO MARAVILHOSO! Não sou tão fã de jogos de terror, mas este sendo de terror e narrativa ficou EXTRAORDINÁRIO! Jogo maravilhoso, toda escolha tem suas consequências, podendo tirar a vida de pessoas ao redor, uma sequência desse jogo seria simplesmente íncrivel!

Good horror game the atmosphere is great the plot is nice and the monsters are cool

Enjoyed it more than I ever thought I would. The story is not that great in my opinion but the way that your choices really do change the way the game goes was great to see and enjoyable. Solid game, recommended definitely.
