A very worthy successor to the cult classic Pathologic franchise. Worthiness includes the bugs, glitches, and jank coding. This game COULD have been a 10/10, if ice pick bothered to test their game. I'm sure it will all be hotfixed within a year or so, bit it's still infuriating. As for the gameplay and lore? Tense, stressful, novel, phenomenal. Everything I expected it to be

As a huge fan of the Masquerade universe, I really enjoyed Bloodlines 2 for what it is. The graphics are insanely pretty, and I absolutely adore some characters (cough cough Safia). The combat is a lot more fluid then the first games jank apocalypse, but is also restricted mainly to hand to hand which is kinda lame. Better then the first? Not by a longshot. I still mourn the loss of the humanity system and clan unique dialogue. But it is a rare "remake for modern audiences" that I found enjoyable.

Russian shovelware, a community as toxic as league of legends, and an unfortunately novel gameplay loop had an unholy union to birth Escape from Tarkov. Unless you enjoy shilling out 120 bucks for the full version of the game, and only then getting about 1/3rd of the promised content stay away. The game is unforgiving, performs poorly, is rife with cheaters, and has an aggressively gatekept fandom that discourages new players. Regardless, EFT is still the birthplace of the extraction shooter genre. And the most in depth one currently on the market. If you enjoy **** rinds of lemons, putting toothpicks under your toenails then kicking a wall, or stapling your gonads to a desk, you might become addicted to this game and hate every second of it

Good game, but incredibly overrated and a downgrade from the original. Some nefarious gameplay decisions were made at Team Cherry. Minute + boss run backs, senseless 2x damage and contact damage on enemies, and other eye rolling mechanics just make the game hard to love. No matter how charming it is. Still, a good game and a great metroidvania

Oh what’s this? A Korean indie studio made a deck building management sim? Surely it won’t be that goo- BRRT, TOP 15 GAMES OAT. Phenomenal story? We got it. Professionally composed Classical Jazz OST? We got that too! The best implementation of deck based combat since Magic the Gathering? Yeah throw that in too. The two biggest complaints this game faces is a difficulty spike that is best described as “vertical” and complex mechanics that are hard to learn (which can be solved with this little hotfix called “gitting gud”) The only true faults in this game are the animation quality, and some design choices. While I personally find the Chibi key frame animation charming, it is undeniably not as flashy as it could be. And book grinding is just kind of lame. After losing to a boss, you have to redo the previous level in order to re obtain a “invite” to the boss. Which on one hand adds stakes to fights, but also makes hard fights you constantly redo a yawn fest. There’s a mod that waives this feature, and I suggest you install it if you play this otherwise fantastic game

Best fromsoft game OAT. This game fixed almost all of the core issues with the Souls like genre, and slapped a nice weaboo paintjob on top of it. They finally moved past rolling, and the parry is your new best friend. It’s so much more rewarding and satisfying than its predecessor that i can’t go back. And gone are the days of being over and under leveled. Farm levels for 3 hours? You’re gonna deal the same amount of damage. Swapping stat points for SKILL points makes leveling feel so much more meaningful. And makes bosses much more fair Becides a few glitches and like, 3 poorly designed bosses (looking at you demon of hatred) this game would be 10/10

One of the most overrated games of all time. It’s rollslop. In all its nitpicky glory. The story? Incomprehensible. Being told through item descriptions, notes, and overly cryptic dialogue. Like SHOW ME all this cool stuff playing out, don’t just tell me it happened The quests? Incompleted. You’d be hard pressed to find a SINGLE character quest in this game that’s completable without the wiki pulled up. While im anti yellow paint, some things in video games do need clear markers and pointers. The combat? rollslop. It’s demon souls 2009 rollslop with fancier animations and hitboxes. Moving on The Graphics? Undeniably great. This game is very very pretty, and one of its strongest elements. The difficulty scaling? Incalculable. The core problem with souls likes strikes again. I beat bosses until I get one shot and it’s virtually impossible regardless of skill level. I go farm souls (runes, whatever) until I can effortlessly beat the boss. The game never sets up fair fights. Either your getting stomped, or your the one doing the stomping. A game where you purposely have to go out of your way to be fair is simply poorly designed. Please. If you want a good souls like play Sekiro. If you just like fromsoft play Armored Core 6. This glittering lemon **** isn’t worth it.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

Dennaton saw the braindead blood spillers having too much fun in HM1, and decided to make them have to earn the carnage in HM2. You can no longer blindly charge room to room with a bat and expect to get that coveted full combo. Which I think is to it’s benifit, I want a game that slaps me for being reckless, that makes me wrestle it to its knees. And HM2 does exactly that. Finally adapt to using guns and can now snipe people around hallways? Well now you play as a pacifist who only uses melee. Now you’re a master of Melee and shooting alike? Now you’re playing as a soldier with ammo management. I think these radical changes in pace help keep the gameplay “alive” and fresh. And if it was just the basic room to room slaughter as the first game without forcing changes in strategy it would get old real fast. As for the story, no one actually plays hotline Miami for the story. But if you replay the game to piece together the fragmented timeline, it ain’t too bad.

Hmm, what if the creator(s) of Undertale decided to make the same game again, but THIS time they knows how to sprite, make music, and script. Oh wait thats just Deltarune. While it’s not as revolutionary and “innovative” as Undertale was back on its release, it’s better in every way. Though I am a bit disappointed with the retroactive removal of certain themes and visuals from the game to maintain a sanitized image, caving into upset fans ultimately harmed the story in my opinion

Only one of the most influential and well received games of the 2010’s, nothing to see here. Ok cmon it’s Undertale, the freakin pope got a copy of it! There are certainly better games on graphical, story, and basically every qualitative front, but they aren’t Undertale

This is a weird one, at first glance it looks like a RPGmaker shovelware assetflip that gets sales due to its risqué elements. And yeah, it kind of is… but if you are able to look past that fact, you can find a pleasing love letter to the Demon Souls series. It really makes me FEEL like I’m playing dark souls in RPG form. The overarching story is also quite compelling if you let yourself get immersed in it, which really pays off in the second game which is absolutely amazing and a vast improvement over the first game. Try your best to enjoy this one, then go into the second game with an open mind. It’s worth it

Second to Undertale naturally, one of the best RPGs ever released. The Characters are lovable, graphics are charming, and story is incredible. While the combat is lackluster and feels mainly like a way to give breaks between the story, the other elements make up for it tenfold

Disco Elysium is a masterpiece of video games. And a strong contender for one of the best RPGs ever made. It’s one of the few games that manages to make political commentary that is compelling, funny, and digestible to anyone reading it regardless of affiliation. All the while supplementing it with hilarious slapstick comedy and humor, as well as a thrilling whodunit murder plot. Not one aspect of this game can be criticized, becides maybe one instance where you can miss some of the best end game content due to a failed dice roll

A all in all fine experience. Despite being marketed as a “choices matter” type of game, I have noticed multiple instances of the game railroading me down a linear story path, especially in the early game. Which takes away from the overall experience. (Most of) the Characters are very likable, and the plot is great, although the game over relies on jumpscares and startle-horror to be “scary”
