Game Chronicles
Unreal Tournament III is about pure adrenalin and blazing reflexes and nothing can touch UT3 for experiencing both in classic shooter fashion online or going solo.

Gameplayer
Epic Games is onto a winning formula and UTIII does deliver just what online console gaming needed: accessible, frantic, and endlessly enjoyable old-school gameplay. Just switch on your console, get in there and blow sh.t up.

Console Monster
Unreal Tournament 3 is all about the action. It isn't deep, but it is immensely fun.

IGN
Because of Microsoft-imposed restrictions on the sharing of user-created content, Unreal Tournament 3 lacks the incredible expandability of the other releases. Thankfully that doesn’t stop this latest Unreal Tournament 3 release from being well worth your time and money if you’re fan of either the genre or the series.

Video Game Talk
Those unfamiliar or new to the series will have a bit of a learning curve as they become used to the speed and controls. But, patience and practice will be rewarded and any FPS fan will enjoy this solid title addition to the 360 library.

Eurogamer
As good as "Enemy Territory: Quake Wars," "Frontlines: Fuel of War" and "Team Fortress 2" are, Unreal Tournament III is the most intense and ridiculous of the bunch. What it lacks in terms of bold innovation, it more than makes up for in terms of raw playability and refined execution, and Epic has come up trumps with a fine conversion.

UT3's Xbox 360 version is huffing and puffing and bringing up the rear, long after anyone cares to watch the race.

If you grew up playing Unreal Tournament on PC, this is a major nostalgia throwback. UT3 is about six years old on the Xbox 360, but it still holds up very well in 2014. Graphically this game still looks great, and it runs surprisingly smooth amongst all the chaos. There's always at least one or two multiplayer servers available with a small handful of people playing. The single player campaign was average at best (the story is absolutely atrocious), but you can always play in coop mode with 3 other people, which really boosts the fun! I highly recommend this game, especially if you grew up playing arena shooters.

An absolutely brilliant FPS, that somehow has got lower ratings than it deserves. Chunky in everyway, goes back to the playing style of that of the first UT. Great graphics, great design on the levels, a nice selection of options. This deserves to be up there with the recommended Xbox 360 titles without a doubt.
