Although the Immortal Empires format, which will combine all three games into one large map, was not yet available at the time of review, the world itself is large even in the individual parts. Its treatment and variety of climatic zones and chaotic crevasses deserve high praise, and the freedom of creative license has been used to the fullest by the authors at Creative Assembly in this regard as well. Selling Ogres as a separate Day-1 DLC is definitely an anti-consumer practice, AI would be best described as “braindead", and some mechanics only work because of duct-tape solutions like “background income”. Yet, CA has managed to capture that certain “je ne sais quoi” of Warhammer: every faction plays differently, but they all feel awesome. [Issue#259, p.42]
If the "Total War" series had been a cow, PETA would have been at the door a long time ago. That's how milked she is. When you're not fighting, you're trying to build your empire. This part of the game combines both the best and worst of Total War: on the one hand, the factions you can play differ substantially and all offer a different experience; on the other, after a strong start, the campaign collapses like a pudding. You focus mainly on one powerful army, so the overall overview disappears somewhat from view. Too bad.

Great game. Had some missteps, but a fantastic Total war. I love this so much.

Te tiene que interesar mucho ver a tus miniaturas digitalizadas para pagar los DLCs. Mi recomendación: cómprate un pack de pintura, las miniaturas y una vitrina.

New features, factions, and gameplay options make Total War: Warhammer 3 a must-play strategy game. Lacking blood at launch was expected, but still disappointing.

Total War: Warhammer 3 is the epic conclusion to a trilogy that has elevated the Creative Assembly formula.

The Games Workshop franchise is particularly well-suited to Total War, which gets rid of its realistic and historical aspect to become crazier. Fantastic spells and demonic creatures are present, and it works well. In addition, Total War Warhammer 3 has the merit of offering us a quality scripted prologue, just to welcome novices as it should.

Ultimately, it’s a great game that will almost inevitably become even better with time, but the launch package won’t disappoint fans of either franchise involved. Especially Warhammer Fans are in for a treat, with new lore and new heroes providing a ray of hope for a better future after quite a few bleak years.

Warhammer 3 opens strongly. The narrative hook of the prologue sinks deep and the raft of tweaks to the strategic layer and tactical battles are all welcome. But it can't sustain the early momentum. The endgame objectives feel like a distraction, even though they're the main point, and serve only to diminish the entire campaign. The factions all have different reasons for wanting the endgame MacGuffin, but none of those motivations make a difference to how the campaign plays out. They're all trapped in the same Chaos Realm, going through the same motions, in pursuit of the same unsatisfying win conditions. In the end, Total War: Warhammer 3 is a good game--there just isn't a good reason to see it through to the bitter end.

It's a fun game for some time, if you like CA's RTS games then you'll like this one. The thing is the formula has not changed at all ever since the first Total War. Combat is refreshed with leaders and magic, but campaign map stuff is too simple. It's basically a game of building big armies fast and keep on conquering settlements, there are almost no strategic layers unlike civilization. Coop campaign mode is appreciated, but I wish they revamp the campaign mode to add more depth.

I'm a fan of the Total War: Warhammer series, even though I'm not much into the Warhammer series in other medias (not because I dislike it, I simply never got to it). The game is good, don't get me wrong. I've played, and still play, plenty of it. However I felt disappointed. There wasn't much improvement over the second game. The campaign added in the third game is okay, to be honest. There are interesting things to it. Can't help but feel like the devs insist on disappointing us when it comes to battles however. Especially with trailers that show cannons and such on the walls. This could be so much more than it is. As a game on it's own, I'd give this 8. As the third game of the series? 7 is pulling it a little bit higher - I'd say 6.5 even.

When you pay more then 60 euros for a game, you expect it to have at least half of the available factions, not just 19,not to mention the very expensive DLS, and that's not even taking info account the many nuances that many people don't like to mention.

The Game offers epic battles with many races and a beautiful lore. I love how the Studio is trying to make the best out of this Game and continues to listen to the Community. As a Slaaneshi Player i am very pleased with Most of the Units. As a Suggestion it would be very nice if you could buff Chosen of Slaanesh because they feel very weak and disapointing. I know you are doing ur best guys keep on the good work!

SummaryFar beyond the world and its petty wars there exists a dimension of pure, malevolent magic: The Realm of Chaos. It is a terrible place, incomprehensible to the mortal mind. It whispers promises of power, but to behold it is to be seduced by it. To relinquish your soul to it. To become it. The four Ruinous Powers rule over this place, ... Read More
