Tetris fanatics (and those still new to the idea) should grab a copy of the original 8-bit rendition. Sure, it won't take advantage of the GBA's advanced capabilities...but then again, neither does Tetris Worlds.

Any Tetris game will always provide some modicum of fun but a myriad of faults, such as the distracting backgrounds or lack of any function to save high scores, makes Worlds one of the least enjoyable versions you’ll find on any format.

One of my first games from the original game boy. The amount of batteries I have spent playing this game exceed the cost of the game itself. Nothing more to say, it is tetris, a gem.

But what Blue Planet did was to add elements of animation to the backgrounds, which are at once beautiful to look at and extremely distracting.
