Subterrain: Mines of Titan

The game is deeply involving. It's a hardcore RPG game where you need to manage hunger, thirst, sleep, manage your base dungeon (with NPCs) getting attacked, crafting, leveling up, quests. You can fight via guns (later), arrows, melee. Repair items. The quests and map is pretty big. And there's lots of containers spread across the world that you can loot. The difficulty can be tweaked and I'd highly recommend tweaking enemy growth to be as per player progress. I went with "natural" and that choice ended up destroying a 6 hour run because the enemies scale up even if you're just walking around. I like that they've given so much tweaking options for difficulty and you can basically remove the feature of your base getting attacked (so that you can focus on the story aspects). Talking about story the dialogues are extremely lengthy (something that's still common to a lot of games today). Dialogues could be considerably optimized. But that said it's a pretty enjoyable game, provided you tweak the difficulty settings based on your preferences.
