Star Wars: Empire at War definitely scores big in terms of style. Gamers who are looking for an authentic Star Wars experience will not be disappointed with this one... What really stinks is that the actual gameplay isn't exciting enough to support the setting.

Reviewing All the games I play in 2026:
Peak 2006, and its aged pretty damn well. Not like wine but also not like milk... Ground battles are pretty boring and the ui and ship controls are clunky, but Star Wars: RTS. Its truly carried by its modding community, and whenever Petroglyth wakes up to update their most sucessful ongoing game and then goes back to their big ahh nap.

STAR WARS: EMPIRE AT WAR is easily the most underrated Star Wars game of all time. This is the only Star Wars game to my knowledge to include fleet-scale space battles with controllable capitol ships; Imperial Star Destroyers and Mon-Calamari cruisers etc. Automatic 10/10 for me. This game is also extremely easy to mod if you download all the required XML files.

The best Star Wars game ever made! I love it. Noone have the ability to do something so good. Buy it! The expansion are fantastica and there are a lot of Universe Expanse caracther!

Really fun strategic game. Very enjoying to go into starwars as a big picture commander, while being able to control ships too.

A very unique real-time strategy game with star wars theme. Skirmish mode is really fun and enjoyable. But the campaign is really boring and monotone.
