Scurvy Scallywags is on my front page where it will stay for quite a while. I keep returning to it if I find myself with a few minutes to spare. It’s perfect for those quick gaming bursts and is enjoyable for long periods as well. Scurvy Scallywags is $1.99 on the apps store and is definitely worth the asking price. It brings some unique twists to the match-3 genre that can easily reel you back in.

The seas are oversaturated with match-three games, but Scurvy Scallywags bobs near the top. Its charming presentation and impressive gameplay depth make it worth a download, even if you are close to being pirated out.

Very fun, well done game. Lots of different maps and new items pop up and the story parts inbetween have a certain Monkey Island-ness to them. Also different from other Match-3's in that you need to guide your pirate around the board which can really affect what direction you want to move the pieces. Good times!

Scurvy Scallywags is the type of game where even though you’ve probably played it before in some other form, you would really be missing out if you didn’t give it a try.

Scurvy Scallywags accomplishes exactly that, with the hallmark wit of Gilbert & Kauzlaric The game takes the match-3 genre, gives it a fresh spin and adds enough joy to keep playing over and over again.

It's essentially Puzzle Quest with pirates, but the sense of humour and variations to the gameplay make this an enjoyable escapade all of its own.
