It's overflowing with charm, smart ideas, and fun gameplay that's all paced perfectly from chapter to chapter. As adorable as the game is, the narrative doesn't hit the highs of the Pixar films it seems to be inspired by, and it ends pretty abruptly on a cliffhanger. That, combined with some occasional checkpointing headaches are really the only blemishes on an otherwise completely lovely experience. Play this game. We don't get ones like this often.

This is such a great game! Beautifully crafted in all its components and the octopus is so cute!

C'était bien, vraiment très bien. Mais le jeu à des problèmes. En voici une liste : -Beaucoup de phases de gameplay mais très peu à la fois : ce que je veux dire c'est que ce n'est pas Darwin qui change mais son environnement, et parfois on souffle. -Certaines d'entre elle son mauvaises (je pense surtout à la baudroie). -Le trophée "Employé du Mois". -Bizarrement c'est pas si facile et des fois il y a des séquences (d'infiltration, de plateforme,...) où tu passes une demi-heure sans comprendre pourquoi t'y arrives pas. -Le fait que quand tu meurs, la musique s'arrête, ça casse l'ambiance. -L'éclairage dans certaines séquences. Malgré ça, le jeu est sympa, je me suis amusé, certaines phases de gameplay sont bien trouvées, Darwin et son ami poulpe sont mignons, et "Steven the Seagull" ainsi que le chef des aliens sont assez drôles. Mine de rien le jeu est très beau et l'ambiance est là. Il y a quelque chose à faire avec ce jeu mais selon moi il y a des éléments à approfondir.

It is not bad, far from it, but it is too safe. The game has a strong central idea, a charming hero, and a beautiful presentation, but it lacks mechanical ambition. Some puzzles are too obvious, some stealth sections feel too basic, and a few interactions could have used more precision. I enjoyed moving through the adventure, but I was rarely surprised by **** short length also reinforces that feeling. Darwin’s Paradox does not overstay its welcome, which helps avoid boredom, but it also limits its overall impact. It leaves the impression of a charming and well-produced adventure rather than a truly memorable one. Solid platformer with stealth mechanics and comedy style narrative which never gets too silly. Puzzles are funny and not too easy, but game mechanics are not that deep, so they get stale at some point. Same goes with art style, a bit too basic at times. The game is totally worth its price, but nonetheless is super short.

One of the worst game i've played this year. Gameplay **** and the difficulty is so stupid. The only good point is the art i really enjoy the design of the different levels. The character is also really funny and attaching with his design but i'm really frustrated about the gameplay part.
