Scarlet Nexus

Scarlet Nexus is one of the most interesting new JRPGs that we’ve seen in a while from a big publisher. Combining a beautifully elegant, but also visceral combat system with rich and evocative theme, and hugely entertaining characters, this game is available on the previous generation, I know, bit in design and execution it’s very much the perfect new-generation experience.

Scarlet Nexus shines for a simple but very complete and fun battle system, as well as having an organic concept that convinces. Its slow pace of the narrative and lack of exploration make the experience somewhat tiresome, however its well-developed story will keep you tuned until the end.

Scarlet Nexus was quite an enjoyable experience. The game’s unique visuals and art design thankfully met my expectations and the fast paced combat was both fun and satisfying.

Scarlet Nexus is an addictive action RPG. Combat is fast-paced, visuals are bright and colourful and the story is so wonderfully bizarre that it will keep you wanting to keep playing. It may not be a game for everyone and it may not be without its flaws but those flaws are counteracted by what it does right. There’s a lot of mileage in the game for those that it clicks with.

Scarlet Nexus is a huge surprise. His combat is wonderful and his story, despite having less inspired moments, knows how to generate interest. The differences between the two protagonists and the surprises are enough to please any fan of the genre.

Scarlet Nexus is a big hit when it comes to the action. With its nervous and supercharged fights, you quickly become powerful controller in hand, especially when you can borrow the power of your allies on the fly. This action is helped by framerate which does not falter on next-gen consoles despite the deluge of effects on the screen which can cause readability concerns. If the proposed universe is visually attractive, we regret not being able to enjoy it anymore because of a cruel lack of additional content. Ditto for the story which is certainly interesting but which is served by a more than minimalist staging. A good first draft which, we hope, will serve as a solid basis for a more ambitious sequel in the years to come.

If you like the sound of a deep RPG with extensive combat mechanics, Scarlet Nexus shouldn’t disappoint. If you are expecting something more akin to Devil May Cry, you might find the extensive storytelling gets in the way of the gameplay a little too much. With that said, you can still enjoy it if you’re not an anime connoisseur. There’s plenty of fun to be had for all players because it’s great once it gets going – but I fear it might lose people in its opening few hours.

как по мне одна из лучших игр своего года. Несмотря на какой-то мутный жанр, имеет крутое повествование, крутых персонажей и хорошую боевку. Ну и двойная сюжетка тоже прикольное решение

Un action RPG sorprendente, con un’ambientazione futuristica originale e un sistema di combattimento rapido e dinamico che combina arti psichiche e armi da mischia in combo spettacolari. La storia segue Yuito o Kasane, con una trama intrigante piena di colpi di scena, misteri e relazioni tra i membri dell’OSF che rendono i **** **** combat system è fluido e gratificante, con abilità psioniche e potenziamenti che permettono approcci diversi agli scontri, mentre le missioni secondarie e i nemici diversificati mantengono alto l’interesse. La grafica è stilizzata e affascinante, con animazioni curate e scenari dettagliati che valorizzano l’atmosfera futuristica del gioco.Alcuni elementi narrativi risultano più convenzionali, ma la **** di gameplay, stile visivo e trama originale crea un’esperienza coinvolgente e divertente.

Отличная игра , но слишком затянутая Хорошая боевка, в меру интересный сюжет, но если бы продолжительность была раза в два меньше (этак часов 8-15), игра бы от этого только выиграла. А так слишком быстро начинаешь обращать внимание на устаревший гейм дизан…

Tedious and overstaying it’s welcome. Game dragged on and on with repetitive combat plan story vanilla characters with not much else going on. The game never really started to grab me and the storyline was just a little too out there to invest in. I had put so much time into it that I had to see it through, but would not recommend if you’re looking for a captivating story and thrillingenvironment and dynamic charaxters. Sorry wish I liked it. I honestly can’t believe that many peopleactually enjoyed the game. I would neverput myself thru another playthru as time was dragging and felt very very tiresome . So many other great games, this was a 5 at best. You couldnt Pay me to do another play thru

I had an urge to play another Action JRPG recently, so I decided to give Scarlet Nexus a try. Despite hearing mostly decent things about the game, I didn't have high expectations for it, and after playing through the it, I'm glad I did, for several reasons. First of all, I'm gonna get 2 things out of the way; the gameplay is very good, it's not perfect, but it's deep enough to keep the player entertained for at least 1 playthrough. Also, the art style is good as well. With that being said, however, the most interesting thing about Scarlet Nexus is that everything else in this game just... kinda ****. The worst offender in my opinion is the whole "PowerPoint presentation/Manga panel" looking cutscenes; oh my god, they're SO goddamn boring! And if that wasn't enough, the story, the writing and the characters are just terrible; they're filled with every generic trope imaginable, and so many things don't even make sense. It's like the game doesn't even try to be interesting or unpredictable in the slightest. It doesn't help that the game is very linear, so you go from "PowerPoint presentation/Manga panel" looking cutscene to cutscene every few minutes, listening to the characters all the time. Also, while the game's world has interesting concept and ideas, the level design is very bad most of the time, the environments look repetitive, and many areas are revisited multiple times through the story. Lastly, the enemy and boss variety is just awful, straight up. Pros: + Enjoyable gameplay + Nice visuals + Intriguing concept Cons: - Very boring cutscene format - Badly written & completely generic story and characters - Extremely linear structure and level design - Backtracking - Repetitive level and enemy variety - Pacing Narrative: 2/10 Gameplay: 8/10 Content: 6/10 Characters: 2/10 Music: ?/10 Art Style: 7/10 Final Rating: 4/10 - Weak - Scarlet Nexus is the kind of game where you have to "turn off your brain" and enjoy the gameplay without paying attention to anything else around it... because everything else in this game ****. Do I recommend it?: Maybe, only at very low price and that's only for the gameplay.
