ReadySet Heroes

Playstation Official Magazine UK
While ReadySet Heroes is at its best with friends, it’s also surprisingly sturdy as a single-player game. You can choose to play as various cartoony critters and while this choice doesn’t affect the playstyle, it would work well as a gentle introduction to the genre for younger family members. [Issue#169, p.92]
Overall it’s a decent little game, not bad for the price and there’s a decent chance your young ones will enjoy it… it’s not a terrible pick up and play for us older gamers too… but it’s definitely more geared towards the younger crowd.
The unique artistic vision behind the game deserves a tip of the hat. However, the same cannot be said for the unimaginative characters, deserted multiplayer modes and technical shortcomings.

Simple, yet highly entertaining game. The legendary weapons are a great addition and something that makes me want to play again and see if I get them - especially King’s karma. It is a perfect game to play with friends or family. One of the greatest downfalls in game consoles is the reduced number of local multiplayer games we can play. Nowadays, most games are either single player or online. Bringing families together in a game that is both simple to learn for all ages, yet challenging and extremely fun is a difficult juggle. I think readyset heroes nailed that and would love to see new versions of the game. More weapons, items, characters, scenes and legendary/Epic/rare stuff too. It doesn’t need to become overwhelming; just more on what makes this game great.

Finally! A challenging game that anyone can enjoy! With the intricate puzzles, hidden loot, and intricate level design this game takes the dungeon crawler genre to a whole new level.

Ready Set Heroes has a good concept, but the execution doesn't match up to the ideas with an over-reliance on the players familiarity with in game language, combined with unresponsive controls and frustrating gameplay.

There's fun to be had in either mode, but the game's ideas are squashed by some poor design. Combat is accessible but stiff; animations are likely to lead you into danger. Some random abilities are clearly better than others -- a shovel can dig up stat gems, meaning you can buff yourself as much as you want. Then there's the small matter of online matchmaking, which at the time of writing, doesn't work at all. Local play works, but this is a game where split-screen makes it much harder to play effectively. If ReadySet Heroes can be updated to overcome some of these problems, it has potential. There's imagination on show here, but right now, it's not something we can recommend.

This is one of the weakest games I've ever tried. everything is very limited that the game actually becomes boring in the matter of minutes. There is a little fun to be had when playing with another person, but there are better games out there. stay away from this game.

Super fun, especially at parties where you can play against friends. Walrus hockey was my favorite free for all battle! Such cute and clever ways to dungeon crawl and brawl!

Level 97 character here. So I have played the game A LOT. The three main reasons this game gets a 4 is microtransactions, crashes and confusion. Crashes: It's constantly crashing, whether it freezes, kicks me back to the menu or kicks me completely out of the game to that blue screen where i can report the issue. This probably happens on average, once per day, maybe a little less. But it's hard to tell, because there will be times I'm playing and it kicks me completely out of the game 4 or 5 times within a 2 hour time frame. Ridiculous..... especially when you consider 99% of games I have ever played in my life don't kick me out or freeze once, at all. Microtransactions: At first glance, the microtransactions aren't actually that bad. I mean you have your typical full armor sets that cost about $85 REAL LIFE money for EACH ONE, and plenty of other aesthetics that cost dozens of dollars for each one. But those are just **** doesn't affect the game at all. BUT.... then you've got the premium stash. For those who don't know anything about POE, let me put it to you this way; for POE being a PvE game, the premium stash is basically about as much of a pay-to-win microtransaction you can get with a PvE game. If that makes sense. People with the premium stash will have much much higher end gear and be a lot more powerful. They'll be able to play around with different builds to find one that they like, etc etc. It also saves hundreds of hours of grinding. The premium stash lets you sell stuff on the online market place in the game. If you don't have the premium stash, you can sell your stuff to an in-game NPC for about 0.0001% of it's worth you can get on the market place. The good news is the premium stash only costs $5. The annoying news is that it's the ONLY microtransaction in the game that isn't aesthetic. So why even have it as a microtransaction? Greed. The other annoying thing about it, is that it cost 40 in-game points. The least amount of points you can buy with real money is 50, for $5. So you're spending $5, get 50 points, spent 40 of those and now you have 10 points left over for NOTHING (there's nothing for 10 points), thus enticing/manipulating you into buying more points with real money. The whole set-up is sketchy and really makes me disappointed in the developers, because you can really tell they're passionate about this game and put their heart and soul into it. Confusion: Like i said, level 97 here..... and i still don't understand everything in this game. Forget about the developers explaining anything to anyone, in-game or online. They try in-game, but do a bad job of it. Most of the videos you find online are 30+minutes and do a horrible job explaining what they're suppose to be explaining. On the surface, a confusing game might not seem so bad. People don't like their hands being held and want to learn for themselves. But here's the problem: you know those games where you collect TONS of loot? And you never know which loot is important and should hang on to, and which loot you can sell or trash??? You know those games? Well this game is the epitome of that! And the loot fills up your 4 stash tabs super fast! And there's an incredible amount of different kinds of loot. So if you plan on looking up online whether something is worth hanging onto or not, that's going to set you gets tens of hours, just because of the rabbit hole you'll be getting yourself into. Basically, unless you know what you're doing (which is very hard to do), you can VERY EASILY set yourself back hundreds of hours.... yes HUNDREDS of hours by not understanding the game. Of course, this can be a little ****....premium stash. Onto the good stuff ^_^ The game is very deep with hundreds of hours worth of gameplay. And of course it's free to play (which is good, and bad sometimes). There a lot of different builds to play around with (if you can afford it in-game). New content consistently coming out. The gameplay is very satisfying when you kills enemies. I've been repeating a lot of different things to level up my character, so that's why I haven't gotten around to doing everything in the game.... but there's still a lot I haven't done in the game. I don't know. I know it's weird I played the game enough to get to level 97 and I mostly have negative things to say about it. The games fun to play though... like i said, it's satisfying. Gameplay/controls are most important when it comes to video games and this game had good ones. So it's easy to pick up and play (if you know what you're doing, which is be hard to figure out).

Isso é um jogo para se jogar por um minuto e perceber que não presta, simplesmente uma porcaria total, era melhor nem terem lançado.
