Plants vs. Zombies Heroes es una de esas joyas ocultas que te preguntas por qué no tiene más fama. No es solo un juego de cartas con skins bonitas, es ciertamente único. La jugabilidad asimétrica y el tablero de 5 carriles lo hacen sentir fresco, más de lo que debería. Sin embargo, el juego sufre el ser de EA, lo que si gnifica que es un juego que constantemente te tira a la cara que gastes comprando ya sean paquetes de cartas o paquetes de personaje, por lo cual suele ser un poco abrumador para alguien que recien lo juega. Pero esto no lo limíta, ya que se puede avanzar sin meter ni un céntimo. Aunque lo más innovador sin duda, y que resalta el gameplay, son las cartas de Entorno. Le dan un toque único. Lo malo es que es raro verlas mucho en los mazos más competitivos hoy en día, lo que es una pena porque son de las cartas más buenas del juego si se usan bien. La forma en que cambian las reglas de un carril es un concepto que no está de esta manera en otros juegos de TCG, haciéndolas muy originales y versátiles en las partidas. Incluso si son una de las cartas menos usadas en mazos, añaden una capa de estrategia que solo los que es tan familiarizados o que tienen bien planeado sus mazos pueden aprovechar y sacar el máximo potencial de éstas. El único problema es que PopCap lo tiene un poco abandonado, aunque últimamente estan dandole algo de atención al juego. No hay nucho contenido nuevo, pero lo que hay es suficiente para engancharte por bastante rato o para matar el tiempo. Si te gustan los juegos de cartas y buscas algo diferente y divertido, probalo.

Plants vs. Zombies Heroes has to walk a fine line balancing between the expectations of its franchise and its genre while also offering enough freshness to stand apart from them, and the fact that it does it with so much style deserves applause. If there’s room in the market for more than one big name CCG, this has a definite shot to be in that mix.

Muy buen juego de cartas con temática de PvZ, nunca le di la oportunidad y ahora que lo probé me enamoré totalmente, tiene muchas cartas, héroes y puedes armar mazos y jugar con o sin internet, ya que tiene su modo campaña y el modo online 1vs1, de lo mejor de cartas que he probado junto con Balatro y Slay The Spire.

I think the whole thing works so well, I hope that EA decides to release it on PC, and even on consoles. The brand already has a presence outside of mobile and tablet, and I think this game would do well in the same markets as Hearthstone. And really, I like this game a lot more than the original Plants Vs. Zombies. It’s harder to compare it to Garden Warfare since that’s a full-blown shooter and it’s like comparing Guacodiles to Zapricots.

It might not have the chops of Clash Royale, but Plants vs Zombies: Heroes is still a lot of fun.

As a gamer who focuses more on game mechanics, repeatability, and luck-tactics, this is one of my favourite games I've ever played. Design (0-4):
The overall design is surprisingly consistent, recalling many ideas from its prequel game. The colour scheme is very well designed. Design-wise, this game is already a masterpiece.
Score -- (4) Repeatability & Luck-Tactics (0-3):
If I had to pick one weak aspect of this game, it would be the limited variety of game experiences. There are only two ways to play: offline storyline levels and ranked matches. It's a shame that it doesn't offer more modes, otherwise, I would say this could be the best game I've ever played. Additionally, it's not very beginner-friendly because it is time-consuming for beginners to collect enough cards to a deck that's 'fun to play.' Another issue is that quests refresh every 3 hours, which is one of the only ways to collect gems in the game.
Score -- (3) Personal Enjoyment (0-3):
I've been playing this since 2016. I've definitely lost interest in this game from time to time, but thanks to the best PvZ Hero streamer 'Fry Em Up' and his content on YouTube, I stayed entertained. I definitely think EA should pay him a substantial amount.

While better than Plants vs Zombies 2, Plants vs Zombies Heroes is not a good example ****. However, this game is not pay-to-win as Plants vs Zombies 2 (it still is pay-to-win). The plot is much better, though if they increased the chance of getting a hero, didn't reduce the fighting force some plants and zombies, this would be a good game.

Once players dived into a certain stage, they shower AI tons of rare cards just to make sure you lose 200% so that you have to throw your money against cheating AI. Playing with random players is another joke to watch, they don't find a equal match but someone who just simply pay to win, throwing every legendary card at you without shame and brain. This is not about plan our strategy or deck wise, it's all about money. If there is a auto-match feature, just throw as much as money you have and turn it on, you won't lose.
