The story of trying to protect Leaf Village is engaging (albeit confusing at times), the fights look cool, and there's tons of stuff to unlock...However, I thought the implementation of controls and combos took away from the fun.

By, far, the most notable edition to Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 is the plethora of new characters. If that sounds like it won’t float your boat, odds are the other minor features aren’t going to be the life preservers.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2 é onde a saga Ultimate Ninja começa realmente a fazer seu nome na história dos videogames de anime, usando da mesma base do jogo anterior (Naruto Ultimate Ninja) e com uma adição muito bem vinda do modo Ultimate Road e 32 personagens jogáveis, o que representa mais do que o dobro do jogo anterior que só possuía 14.
O modo Ultimate Road consiste no no modo campanha, só que, diferente do jogo anterior que íamos enfrentando uma serie de inimigos de maneira semelhante a um modo torre de Mortal Kombat, aqui temos um pequeno mapa que representa a vila da folha e seus arredores, onde podemos andar livremente com Naruto e fazer as missões da história de acordo como elas acontecem no anime/mangá, participar de mini games com os personagens (subir na arvore, corrida plantando bananeira, competição de apoio de frente, etc...) e realizar as (já conhecidas) missões de Rank D ao S para vc chegar ao nível de Hokage.
A história segue de forma bem precisa os eventos do arco Destruição de Konoha ao arco dos Três Senins Lendários e após isso ainda temos uma história filler que até é interessante.
Como o jogo se passa até o arco dos Senins Lendarios espere encontrar personagens como Itachi, Kisame, Jiraya, Tsunade e Guy e também o resto dos Genins que não estavam no jogo anterior mas agora se fazem presentes. Dos 14 personagens do jogo anterior 13 foram aproveitados nesse jogo (Cursed Mark Sasuke foi adicionado como um buff ao Sasuke ao realizar sua técnica secreta nível 2) o que resulta em 19 personagens inteiramente novos.
Pontos positivos:
- Modo Ultimate Road adaptando muito bem a história do anime/mangá
- 19 Novos personagens
- Soundtrack boa
- Minigames divertidos
Pontos negativos:
- Jogo curto, podendo ser conseguido todos os personagens em apenas 6 horas ou até menos dependendo de sua habilidade.

é um jogo do naruto, ele é simples porém divertido, a abertura dele é bem bacana, os golpes e combate são normais, não tem o que reclamar ele só não é especial

My advice is that if you pick up just one Naruto title this year, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 will be your best bet.

Naruto fans will most definitely not be disappointed by this sequel, and even fighting game fans who can't tell a Hokage from a Dragon Ball could do worse than to check it out.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 is a pretty great sequel with a brand new "open world" story mode called "Ultimate Raod". Well, it's not actually open world like GTA but it's such a breath of fresh hot air moving to place to place rather than watching the story like a movie. However the travelling in the game is quite tedious so if you don't mind that GG. The stor... *cough* ULTIMATE ROAD mode in general is very good giving you fun stuff to do and a nice replay value. The versus mode is much or less the same so meh. The controls are the same and the music is quite surprisingly soothing, jumpy and enjoyable. Overall, this game is a great upgrade from the original game, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja and consider picking it up when you see it.

Ultimate Ninja 2 is more of the same but with a fresh coat of paint. In my opinion it's got enough meat on its bones to recommend to fans of the original and beat 'em up fans in general. But while the action is pretty easy to get into, the game's victory conditions might prove frustrating to some.

The learning curve is high but don’t let that discourage you from picking up Ultimate Ninja 2. My favorite portion of the game is the Ultimate Road story mode; it provided a real purpose to finish the game.

Only time will tell whether Naruto will become a gaming joke or not, but for now Naruto fans in the UK could do a lot worse than Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2, though they could also do better.

The chakra move sequences are by far the best part of the game. It's a fun novelty for a while, but the single player is not satisfying enough and the multiplayer simply not fun enough for me to be able to recommend this title. Fans of the show will absolutely lap it up, but anyone else will quite frankly be a little bit baffled.
