This game made history on the PS1. One of the most beautiful 2D games ever made. It features an intriguing story and captivating characters.

Legend of Mana sure is a charming and beautiful game with a unique mechanic. Playing all these tiny stories may have made great little adventures, but the game suffers from one fatal problem. It has aged horribly. The controls are clunky, hit detection is a mess and, as unique the core mechanic of the game may be, it's utterly confusing. This is a game that would have needed a full remake like Trials of Mana. But this remaster just does too little and what is left is nothing more than an antiquated relic ****, that needed more than just a slight polish of its visuals.

Fans will love the remake of Legend of Mana on console and PC. The developers have invested a lot of effort and love here. The storyline is still fun nowadays, and the completely different approach to the game brings a breath of fresh air to the genre. The combat system is well done and is always fun due to the many possibilities and variations. The technology has also been improved a lot and is worth seeing and especially hearing. You also get a revised storage system. If you want to experience a real classic on the console and PC, you should definitely buy "Legend of Mana".

Legend of Mana can be categorized as an eternal game. This is because of its existence which is timeless. Even though it is now more than two decades old, its beauty still manages to captivate us, especially from the audio side. In the early 2000s, the internet was a rarity and one can only hope for video game magazines to provide walkthroughs of hard-to-find games. Now, in this era of the internet, you will no longer have trouble completing this game because the walkthrough from the original version can be used to guide you towards progress perfection. This is the perfect time to complete your childhood adventure.

Loved this game when it first came out, and love it now. The backgrounds and music are perfect. I love the battle system, crafting and monster raising. The sprites are really the biggest issue and for me personally, it doesn't bother me that much, it's just slightly jarring with the beautiful background.

Up there on my game regrets top 10 with things like 2008's Turok. A game that hasn't aged well isn't really helped by the slight polish to the background graphics and it could really have done with some modernisation to the UI. A lazy nostalgia money grab.
