Loved this game when it first came out, and love it now. The backgrounds and music are perfect. I love the battle system, crafting and monster raising. The sprites are really the biggest issue and for me personally, it doesn't bother me that much, it's just slightly jarring with the beautiful background.

While I'm still turned off by the weapon duping and the voice acting for English, I can say I was and am engrossed with the game play and world. It's fun to be able to go out and ignore the story while I hunt wolves into extinction. I think that while it could have been executed better, the way the decided to tell the story was fun and new even if the battles ended up mostly the same. Is it the best Koei Tecmo game in the world? no, not at all, it needed some very heavy duty polishing that I'm sure we'll see in the next game. I still enjoy playing it when I feel like beating droves of baddies though and for a game like this, that's good enough for me,
