New items ****. New powers ****. Animation is janky. Boss battle is drawn out, takes forever, and has a stupid dps check. Possibly the worst dps check of all time. I like XVI but this was a waste of money

This game seemed great from the trailer but when I played it, it was a very boring mess. The game had lazy characters but the boss battles and battles in general made this game not a 4/10

The DLC lacks the same as the main game -interest to keep going on and appealing rewards- but doesn't offer the greatness the main game offers in exchange. And besides, some battles, specifically the one involving time stopping, are tedious and unfair. Very dissapointed with this one.

Fight with leviathan is worst boss fight in computer games history. It's my last final fantasy game.

The person who thought the timed phase on the final boss is somehow hard should be fired and never hired again anywhere. Pure cancer mechanic that deserves scorn and shame.

Great DLC which features a beautiful new area to explore with some new enemies and a new Eikon which was very fun to use. The story meshed well with the main game and was very well done.

Un DLC buenísimo y a la altura del juego base. Con una batalla memorable, un mundo interesante y misiones entretenidas, este DLC expande de una forma magistral el mundo de Valisthea. Muy recomendable. 9/10(09/2024)

This DLC added everything that strengthened the main story. The lore about Leviathan, and the people related to the event. New abilities and ne game mode in the Ares stone were great and create replay values.

Could have been parked under the base game. Still a good DLC though it's a little expensive for a short game.

It wasn't worth it at all. Overpriced for what it offers, and shallow in the same way as the base game. The boss are uninspired and generic, and the cringe story doesn't help nether.

Durata molto sotto alle aspettative per come era stato presento all’annuncio, espande la lore del mondo con una trama abbastanza godibile. Le nuove abilità sono di tutto rispetto ma la cosa migliore rimane lo scontro finale epico che come quelli del gioco base risultano una delle cose più riuscite dell’opera. Diciamo una chiusura decente del progetto anche se si poteva fare nettamente di più.

Such a touching story with Levitathen’s dominant and Cascade is probably one of Soken’s best work so far in any media. Great challenge with the Kairos gate, and cool new two sets of Eikon abilities. The DPS check of Levi during FF mode was the spotlight of the DLC. I truly hope for more DLCs to come for XVI, this is my favorite final fantasy

Los nuevos combates son increíble, tiene gran historia y que concluye muchos cabos sueltos. Muy recomendado este DLC

Excellent expansion just the same great things from the base game but more both good and bad. Amazing boses, leviathan fight, good areas, combat addions, extra mode and lore. Combat is still supreme. Side Quests still are kinda the same and characters are still cool and solid. Just a great addition to an already great game.

I got to floor 3 of the Kairos Gate before getting annihilated. It’s a very tough DLC, especially the boss fights. 10/10

Just like the main game, one of the most boring experiences in the history of gaming. Yoshida and CBU3 think mmo-style quest and cutscene design are adequate for AAA gaming.

All of the music is great, and the difficulty of the battles is well adjusted. The new abilities surprised and excited me. The bosses you fight in the battle content all have a sense of dynamism.

It is a heartful send off & farewell to Clive & friends. If you love Final Fantasy XVI then it's a must have DLC. It is quite short if you play only the main quest only but because it is filled with quite bunch of side & extra contents that put this DLC to be enjoyable as a proper final DLC for FF XVI. Battle in last dungeon & with Leviathan is quite challenging too, fit for veteran players. Me finished it in Final Fantasy Mode & I feel happy after finally finished my most favorite FF of all time.

elviathan fight didn't disappoint and the new secret power was also cool, can recommend

I remembered that I really loved final fantasy 16 through this DLC. if you like 16, this DLC is worth playing.

one of the worst things about the internet is gaming toxicity. What the lunatics here are doing about the hatred of this game is beyond sanity. I think XV is a better game and a better FF than XVI, however that doesn't stop me from enjoying Rebirth, XVI and this great DLC.

A very bad experience, maybe even worse than the main plot. I can see why they choose to cut it from the development. Everything it feels out of context. But I guess that the blind fans don't care about storytelling and challenges...

Final Fantasy 16 killed the franchise. I don't expect anything of good from them anymore, especially after this disaster

It was so much fun! ! The story, battles, visuals, and music were all the best DLC. Thank you very much to all the development team.

Not too shabby, still wished it was slightly longer but I enjoyed it. Defo my top 3 FF games.

Quick review: it expands and upgrades stuff from base game. Really enjoyed it andmany things from this DLC were much better than in base game!

- a lot more new skills and power ups - very fun bosses - decent story - and nice amount of content for20 bucks I love it.

Amazing DLC addition to the game the new eikonic abilities are god-like. Mysida brings back the lush environments this game was peak for. Leviathan was, of course, the show stealer, and his fight is breathtaking as all the Eikon fights are and an amazing skill check for players. The lore thankfully, is an addition to the game rather than taking away from the ending (which I'm thankful for). Kairos Gate is also a perfect addition to this game even though the trials in the base game were great having an official bloody palace-like challenge was sorely missed. I would give this a ten however some stuff in the DLC did disappoint but not enough to take away from it too much. Jill although getting a bit of extra tidbits wasn't utilized as much as I'd hoped since it's the north and Josh is kinda just there. The final secret boss of Kairos Gate was also a bit of a bummer was expecting something a little more but cant win them all. Overall an amazing DLC can't wait to play this all again when the PC release comes out

$20 dollars for one elite enemy, an okay cinematic boss fights and a few scary redesign tonberries. Nothing reli excited and worth the price tag. Not to mention the secret boss is just a reskin boss from mid games with a slightly tune up moveset of the bloody palace. It's an okay dlc if it's a free update. But, with the price tag.That's a day time robbery. 1/10 , the one pt is for the clear blue sky compare to the ugly moist purple sky in main game. Just wait until all free dlcs or even the game get intoPSN/gamepass

Presentation: good. Combat: improved but not drastically. Otherwise? Solid 7/10. Not great, not terrible.
