Welcome back in the 80s with one of the best action arcade games of all time... next-gen can wait a little more!

With multiple paths to take, tons of hidden areas and an endless barrage of cool boss fights, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara is one of the best brawlers on the Xbox Live Arcade. Throw in online multiplayer, fun challenges to complete and plenty of extras to unlock, and suddenly you have an old school arcade compilation that is tough to put down!

We would have loved an actual remake or having more extras, but the quality of these classics is undeniable. A great choice to relive the arcade experience at home.

A great package. The replay value is extremely high thanks to a diverse cast of characters, unlockable content, and online multiplayer. Visually the game is impressive, with various levels to explore and enemies to fight.

Chronicles of Mystara’s long-awaited English-language home debut has been handled with great care, bringing us an experience that’s virtually identical to the arcades and successfully tugging at nostalgic heartstrings.

Iron Galaxy, once again, dishes up a really interesting HD remake of one of the lovely Capcom beat'em up classic franchises.

At the end of the day, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara packs together two splendid side-scrolling brawlers that have withstood the test of time.

Chronicles of Mystara is at its best with co-operative play, as you'd expect from any side-scrolling beat 'em up. It may not have aged as fine as wine, but nevertheless, it's still enjoyable.
