It's a winning combination: the same great concept that made Dungeon Siege a hit now with new story lines, new features and improved graphics. It's a great choice for dozens of hours of gameplay this fall.

If you are a fan of the series then you absolutely have to play this. If you are a loot junkie, like I am, then you have to get this game, but if you are a hardcore RPGer looking for a challenge, you will be disappointed.

This version is as good as the first version. Excellent gameplay with wonderful immersion! One of the best RPG games I have ever played.

An entertaining hack 'n' slash which does not really lack anything except originality. [Sept. 05]

The best way to experience what DSII has to offer is through co-operative mode - you can play the entire game's storyline with other people. There's nothing more enjoyable than storming a dungeon with a party of your friends.

Game Over Online
It’s polished and well made, it has a long campaign, and there’s even some re-playability to it, both for starting a new character and playing the campaign again, and for upping the difficulty level and continuing the exploits of your first character.

Adrenaline Vault
Possesses the single most important quality for a game: it’s fun. Controlling my party of characters to victory over the hordes of enemies that would flood the screen was a blast. Yes, there was a large amount of repetition, but I found myself faithfully returning to the game to move to the next area, or to achieve the next goal.

They still do not have a fun game, but simply a collection of features… maybe the next time around they will have a fun game… one can always hope.

The best RPG game ever no I am not paid to say this. Reasons 1) Story yes it has no paper thin plot. 2) Un predicatability will never see the ending coming 3)Re playability amazing played till elite ( 3 times ) 4) Item sets, spells.. amazing 5) Dificulty you will never steamroll your enemies. 6) Boss battles unique no simple hack slash esp 3 headed snake and dragon amazing. 7) Superb timed cinematic.... 8) Sidequest tons and unique... 9) Different game styles can be achieved with diff NPC ( not to mention PETS ) 10) I love the villan Just love him best he is like Arthas of WOW. Although I didn't like sequel though curse you microsoft for abandoning it.. DS3 a pale shadow of DS2

My favorite hack and slash RPG simply because of the memories it brings back. The combat is relatively simple and the required skill is not high at all. In fact, the game can feel a bit too easy at times and even the boss fights are not challenging at all. But I love it nonetheless, because it is a game that has a soul. I love the beautiful environments, the story and the lore, I love the many of the clever little secrets, puzzles, hidden treasures, secret rooms and easter eggs. The soundtrack is beautiful, everything about this game just brings back pleasant memories to me. ^^

Even with all new mechanics and other stuff its a little bit step down comparing to previous game. Still ok but not that good.
