Everything is so good with this expansion that you have to buy it without any hesitation.

Bungie might've lost a portion of their player base for good, but for anyone that wishes to continue playing - or hop in now - Forsaken does a lot to fix Destiny 2, while forging its own identity.

The sequel’s best expansion by a distance. This update delivers a lively campaign that deserves to lure lapsed players back into the Fallen fold. [Issue#155, p.97]

destiny best expansion to this day the seasons were at its best and so was the community it all went downhill from here

This is the dlc that really get me into the game. The malfeasance and Thorn quests werenso good to do with friends

The franchise was is a gnarly nose dive with the release of D2. This expansion brought the franchise back inline with the previous content the community expected from the franchise. Also, Last Wish is probably the best raid & boss fights in D2 so far.

Forsaken will persistently be a different game with new things to do and discover each and every week, and I don’t see that slowing down anytime soon.

Regardless how far you've traveled in the Destiny universe, taking on this continued adventure is one you won't regret. The raid, which releases shortly after the Forsaken expansion, will surely be another great experience, if for no other reason than the loot it offers. Even without the raid, the rest is well worth the time and energy. The only thing holding it back is how the Destiny expansions work, which require all prior DLC to be purchased, including Forsaken, which will understandably be a turnoff for some newcomers.

This expansion puts destiny 2 back on the map. Great story, beautiful destinations, awesome Supers, plenty of content, an excellent new multiplayer mode called Gambit and to top it all off a stellar new raid for you to sink your teeth in. Long story short; the Destiny 2: Forsaken DLC is exactly what you'd expect and what the base game needs. If they could only fix that framerate though.

The Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2 delivers a meaty chunk of new content, while building on the foundation that had been established with the vanilla game. New modes, locations and a sinister plot make Destiny 2 shine again, and that's a good thing.

For the average player, this expansion has a much longer tail than previous iterations of Destiny 2. The variety and flexibility of activities established in the base game still work to make grinding a good time, and Gambit adds a consistently entertaining mode to the roster. The endgame, while difficult to reach, is also where the most satisfaction can be found.

If this review reads like a roller coaster of emotions, that's because Destiny 2: Forsaken, like all things post-2010 Bungie, is lopsided.

The best thing about Forsaken is that they tried to remake Taken King and got a hell of a lot closer than vanilla d2

Forsaken is a solid expansion to Destiny 2 that more players were very excited about and it turned into a decent experience that was enjoyable enough.

Decent story after an entire year and two expansions of PR Disaster Too burned and too skeptical after two very lackluster DLC's Competitive is no longer that because there is no defining line between the Elite and the average Joe Sincerely disappointed with wanting more micro-transactions incoming

I cannot understand why Bungie create so bad campaign in the add-on. Epic starter trailer, when one of characters die, and after this MMO-gameplay (kill 25 mobs, kill 8 boss). Bungie, please, create story-only game. Halo is one of the best shooter in the world.
SummaryWith 2 brand-new destinations to explore, and new weapons, armour and Supers to acquire, Forsaken takes players on an epic journey into the wild frontiers of our solar system where the lines between justice and revenge are blurred. Forsaken also features an all-new competitive and collaborative endgame activity, called Gambit. A first-of... Read More
